How can I get a guy away from his friends?

I like this guy who is always with his friends. his friends are immature and won't leave me alone so I'd rather not have to deal with them. even if they weren't I'd be too intimidated to approach a group of guys. so what can I do? how can I flirt with him if we never get a chance to talk?

Bring some friends as back-up! adding another girl or two into the mix will not only distract the rest of the guys, but also give you an oppertunity to monopolize his conversation a bit while everyone else is talking!
