Do you think taller women are more attractive than short women?
Are taller women more attractive than shorter women?
Do you think taller women are more attractive than short women?
I think she used those numbers because 5'5" is average height for women in the U.S.
I wouldn't say one is more attractive than the other. I would point out that the closer she is to my own height the less of an issue there is in bed, the shower, a car, in 69, etc.
The common thing to do is to take the difference and cut it in half. Find an object like a yoga block that is the 'half size' to allow things to line up pretty well. Some might not think it is that big of an issue but when you are going for that second or third cookie your legs get tired quick if they are bent for a long period of time.
it depends on how tall the guy is. I'm 6'2" and I love a tall girl, but my friend is 5'7" so he only wants a girl that's shorter than him. A lot of guys aren't over 5'10" which is why there is the general thought that guys don't like tall girls. I've seen very attractive short girls and tall girls, makes no difference to me.
Hmmm, they both have their advantages.
Tallness can really add to your room presence, for example, extremely tall models. Long legs are very nice as well. Yet with shortness in women can be a advantage because a lot of guys find shortness cute, even very tall guys. Not only that, but not every guy is 6 ft and up...a lot of guys are on average 5'6 ish themselves and may feel intimidated or insecure next to a girl who is their height or taller. So that' an issue a short girl won't have to worry about.
This is why us ladies cannot rely on our physical blessings to be attractive
i'm a little over 5'6 and know tons of guys that are shorter than me.. in general guys liek girls to be shorter than them, if he's tall, he might like a taller girl, shorter guys prob wants a shorter girl.. but of course there are the exceptions.. I don't think taller women are any more attractive than shorter (I have lots of shorter girl friends).. just depends on the guy, what his preference is.. there's no set in stone if taller's more attractive, I think.
Scientifically men are most attracted to very short women (5'-5'2) with an hourglass figure. Would link the stats but I'm on my phone. Google it. It has something to do with shorter women having more estrogen than taller, and therefore attracting more men for fertility reasons. Same idea with tall guys being more desirable than shorter I suppose

huh you were actually pretty close but off by about an inch In the US, atleast. In the US the average hight of women is 5'4'' so under that is short over that is tall
5'4 is short, regardless of how average it is. average isn't short or tall, its what is common in the population. a population can be short on average, if you have some standard to measure by.
you didn't answer my question. :(
lol nope, short and tall is relative so short and tall is based off of its average,a three foot ant is a f***ing huge ant even though it is much shorter than us because its size is relative to its own population, and it really isn't an issue a pretty girl is a pretty girl regardless of height so don't worry about it
height is relative to a population so yes it actually is dependent on the average, for example a three foot tall ant is a super f***ing tall despite most children being taller than that because at the end of the day its is compared to its population. It would have been a better argument if you had pointed out that a mean average can be indecisive due to outliers but you would still be mostly wrong, about your question, it really dosn't matter a pretty girl is a pretty girl height dosnt factor
Did you seriously just compare ants and children to a question about adult human beings? I don’t even see how that’s a good comparison. Comparing different stages of development (or different species lol) is not the same as comparing human adults of the same species, excluding abnormalities. While I understand your point, it does seem kind of a fail. You would have done better to stick with adult human averages within countries or differences among ethnicities
instead of making ridiculous comparisons of a totally different nature. Just saying.
youre not really proving my point wrong - if you set a standard measure, you have your standard for what is tall or short. and yes, average by definition is simply that - the average of a population. I'm saying that by a certain measure, like how you measure anything else, certain heights are short and others arent. I'm going by the measure I gave in my question because "average" doesn't mean anything to me
especially since we aren’t all from the same country or the same race here (and heights vary among racial populations within the united states as well). In many countries, 5'4 is short. even in the u.s. many people think of that as short. The standards to choose from vary. In fashion or clothing sizes, for example, “regular or average” sizes/inseams are measured by women who are 5’5 height, at least.
And to piggy back off your own point, if height is all relative, perception of height is also relative to your own height. Seeing that most men are taller than women, on average, I can easily argue that 5’4 is short in comparison to most men. The adult, male person of average height in the u.s., specifically, judging the attractiveness of adult women is more likely to see a 5’4 woman as short and probably won't see a 5’5 woman as tall at all. My 6’3 cousin thinks of his 5’6 girlfriend as short
They are judging what seems tall or short to them by their relative perception, and not running to their computer to see what is the official “average height” for women. That makes no difference to them. Their relative perception leads them to interpret these girls as short.
So obviously you see that leaving everything up to “its relative” without specifying my own standard of what I mean when I'm asking “do you think tall is more attractive than short” would be an essentially pointless question, as no one would be completely sure of what I mean when I say short or tall. This is why I specified my own measure of short and tall, so you can understand who I’m talking about.
Just saying...
... height is the least of your problems what is going to turn guys off from you is that you are crazy
Just saying...
lol probably.
I don't mean to just but in I didn't even read all the comments lol but he right, 5'4 is the average height for women in the US, and it is definetely not short. No one has ever called me short in my life and that's my height. 5'7 and above is what most people say is tall, and 5'4-5'6 average and anything below is short.
thanks for the back up, yes I know that fashion bases their template off of taller people than that but that does not make them the average it has always been a problem that clothes is fit to unrealistic body proportion that the public is forced to struggle into
I never said 5'4 wasn't the average. I said that its short based on relative perception and certain standards or measures. I'm 5'4 and I've had several people tell me I'm short. Different experiences.
Not necessarily more attractive but I'm with the other anonymous. Lately I've been into long legs. There's something about those long legs that are hot.
I'm 5'7", so I'll say short in this case.
For someone who's 6'2", they'd probably say tall.
women are women, I prefer short because I'm short but if a women is tall and is in to me so be it
I'm 6-ft even, and I think both are attractive although I generally end up going for slightly shorter :)
height has nothing to do with it. There are a million different body types. A woman should try to look best for the type she has.
I think all girls are great but lately I've been attracted to tall girls and I'm 6 one
I don't know why but tall girls are just so great :)
its probably those loooong legs you like :D
haha yeah or I like girls I can look in the eye =P
No. Its actually the opposite. Short women and tall men are favored when it comes to reproduction. Short men and tall women are less desirable and thus, at a disadvantage.
I only date short girls. I'm only 5'6" so that's what I like.
My dating experience has been that men are more attractive to taller women.
i don't necessarily think so but for some reason I am much more attracted to taller women
It really doesn't matter much :S
i don't think height really makes a difference
Of course!
Yes definitely!
in my opinion, Yes!
