We have known each other for two years. She is currently single. We live a fair distance apart, so we haven't had a chance to hang out, but she calls me frequently. We have been bonding well. But she seems to be hot and cold. One day she expresses interest, the next she will seem uninterested.
She invited me to her sisters wedding. I accepted. Then she invited me to this small, private family gathering the day after. I accepted.
She has made it clear I am her "wedding date", and asked if I was uncomfortable with that terminology. I told her of course not. She also mentioned that she would like to help pick the hotel I stay at as she plans on staying with me after the wedding.
So, I am reading too much into all this, or not enough? Part of me feels like she just doesn't want to go alone. But I also realize there are other guys that live nearby that would kill to go with her. I never hinted or asked, it was all her idea for me to come.
