Why is breast size such a large issue for most women?

So, I notice on here on questions like "What do you hate about your body the most"? That breast size is a common issue. I mean, sure, a lot of men like big breasts. That doesn't, however, mean that ALL men like them. I, myself, like smaller breasts. It annoys me to see so many people with A / B cup wanting to have D cup, as, I just don't really find that attractive. I mean, you don't need to seek male approval for everything.

Can anyone explain this obsession to me?

I do not like my breast size, I wish they were bigger.

Let me start off with Im large Chested. Basically women all of you. You should love the way you are and how God made you because he made you beautiful. I know a few women who are way larger than me and they want to get breast surgery to make them smaller. Its the media its the world its hollywood showing oh you need plastic surgery get bigger boons get bigger butts no. There are some men that can't stand to look at women with large chests and they say ewww why because thats not their preference. Be happy the way you are and look and stay away from plastic surgery. If you haven't watched botched, lady was small chested got implants and it gave her breast cancer. If she didn't get them she wouldn't have it. She got it removed and went back and got it again. Your better off having what you have without all the plastics. Keep it natural.

Yeah, I wish my breasts were bigger, but not for the reason you've stated.
I'm pretty sure most women don't like their breasts for other reasons than for "male approval".
I for one, I'd like to be able to wear a tube top without a bra (to stop the top from slowly sliding down). Yeah, "clothes fitting better" is the biggest reason for most women.

Yeah guys are known to be more fond of larger breast... But as for GAG it seems like the opposite on just about any question about boobs when guys state their opinion most guys say they like the smaller knew better.

As for my opinion personally I'm a DD and I want to have C cups again not because of what guys on here are saying but personal reasons.

Its proabably because the TV/Media/Internet has given the impression to all Women that they need big boobs for men to like them, when thats really not the case if a guy only likes a girl for her boobs then he is obviously a shallow kinda guy, I have had girlfriends with Big boobs and small boobs, it really does not matter.

Same applies with men believing they need a six pack for girls to like them, they will only arttract the shallow girls.

Society is one reason.
Clothes are another.

My girlfriend complains about hers because she wishes she could fit into clothes better sometimes but doesn't care about them sexually.

A few of my girl friends complain that they're not big/smalle nough for a partner's preference, however.

So i guess it depends on the girl?

i can't judges, decide, or say however, for I am male and don't know the harships of breats.

Its because breasts are a quite sexual body part for men and generally important to them.
Womwn often want man to "be pleased" or find their breasts "hot (which I find stupid. Just care about your own opinion)

And its often so that breasts aren't "perfect". They are different, may not be perky or symmetrical and it stresses women because p*rn gives the wrong impression to guys and girls about boobs.

And often comments and opinions like "they are too small" or "ugly saggy fat tits" hurt us.

I'm small but happy with my size. I don't want to look like Barbie! Can you imagine huge knockers making me fall down? I don't even weigh much so even the wind tends to drag me along sometimes. XD

I'm flat chested and the only reason I wish I had boobs is just so my clothes would fit me better. Never had any problems otherwise, none of the guys I have been with had a problem with it, although I know most guys prefer boobs.

I don't know why they care so much. Guys don't care all that much about size and even if they do they can clearly see how big they are when they approach her so obviously they will like her boobs and there's no reason to be insecure
