Girl ignores me when I say hi to her. I'm confused as to why that is. Can the Q's be answered pls?It will help much to read an answer to all Q's?

This girl and I are in the same grade in high school, I never have really talked to her much when she first came here and now I decided to try it. When I first said hello to her she seemed surprised and had her eyes widen and kind of shook her head. Then after weeks, now when I say hi she'll say a short, abrupt hi back, then if I ask how are you, its the same way when she says good. I have a hard time trying to talk to her, I rarely talk so I haven't done anything to where she could hate me, but in the hallways for example, I said hi two times, both times she just ignored and I think looked the other side on her right. The second time was at the end of the school day, she was walking past me with a friend of hers, I said hi, and both her and her friend just stared straight and ignored me. wtf is her problem towards me? I'm so lost with what's going on and she's purposely doing it I'm sure. I have many Q's
-how do I get her to not be like that?
-why is she doing that in the first place?
-does she hate me for no reason?
-is she doing it for the opposite reason, does she actually like me?
-If so, why is she being so mean/rude to me?
-Is she trying to get me to do something/get me to notice her?
-If she supposedly "hates me/thinks I'm weird or a creep or something for no reason." What do I do?
-How do I talk to her? with how she responds, I don't know how to.
-How do I get her to like me? I like her actually to be honest, she's the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen in my opinion. :)
-How do I bring in topics into a conversation?

we don't have much classes, so if practically after school, but I say hi and she ignores and will walk away.

You have made and held eye contact with her, introduced yourself to her, greeted and, or initiated conversations with her on several occasions. From this, she is aware of your interest in her, to date her, etc.

That being said, she simply seems disinterested in dating you, in my opinion. Regardless of whether she had interest in you prior to her present relationship. Thus, to deter you from asking her out or approaching her to make small conversation, she ignores you. And, act snobby or stuck up towards you.

Yet, somehow, in someway, you ignore it, perhaps for a few days or so, and continue to greet her and vie for her attention. This will and is getting you nowhere fast with her. With every instance you enable and tolerate her mistreatment or rude behavior by consistently approaching her, etc., she loses respect for you. That is what many consider as... desperate, clingy behavior.

Move on.

saying hi to someone isn't being desperate. it's actually trying to talk instead of just sitting around. I've never done anything else but just say hi and her name. sometimes a how are you. with that said, there's no reason to be rude or how saying hi would be "desperate" and lose respect.

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you. However, since she has at times ignored you or given you signs that your attempts to greet her or interact with her are perhaps unwelcomed, I do not.

im having the same problem right now with a guy i like. he's kinda shy but we really hit it off on a most recent outing... anyway is the hallway busy or crowded? its possible this is a misunderstanding or maybe she is just as bad at communicating her feelings as you are... keep the faith dont give up until you either get a "no" or get one through body language when she's definitely paying attention

well I found out she's been dating a guy for about 3-4 weeks now, which it sort of made sense in my head, until I think about the fact on how she responded before and then the quick change, and how she talks short, abrupt, and quiet to me only. Unfortunately, she doesn't like you. Now, she may see you as somewhat beneath her maybe,(?) and doesn't want to be seen talking to you. (Just speculation, my word isn't set in stone) or maybe she just finds you creepy.

Don't get me wrong, you could be a normal, good person. But, sometimes, what guys don't perceive as creepy actually is to us girls. Just saying.

all I've ever really said was hi to her when I saw her, the only thing that could be weird is that I had a dare to just walk up and a couple unopened packets of gum to her and walk away. but I don't really think she would really think about that after so much time as gone by. she was confused and smiling/laughing about it but she never had anything bad about it.

like... for example... say if a cute-hot guy said hi and she was surprised and maybe thinking that there would be more that would happen, but lets say the guy was like quiet and therefore never dated. so then he never really shows interest and then she believes that he doesn't like her. so then she starts to not do much because she believes its just a friendly hi and wouldn't want to do anything that could be embarrassing or something.

well the thing is... is that she doesn't have any good reason to do this to me. and when she does this, it makes me just want to talk to her more. it makes me like her more and more for some reason. I want to actually become gfbf with her now but I don't know how to show her now that I like her, and get her to like me to date me too. Well I don't think she would be. She just randomly changed one day and treats me differently. I at first thought maybe she was having a bad day, but then I see her talk louder and to other people and everything, after that day she's sort would say hi like I described. I'm from Canada too, so that has nothing to do with it haha. So she's been giving you mixed signals... maybe try to just flat out ask her "Why do you act different around me?". Otherwise, you're going to drive yourself insane trying to figure out if she likes you or not.

I guess I learned that she started to date a guy 3 weeks ago, kind of when she changed how she responded to me. Why won't she talk to me though? If they break up, there's still a possibility that she's not going to stop acting like this. Yes, like you said, MAYBE she likes you or maybe she just doesn't but knows that you do, so that explains her actions. You can't know, you can only keep inventing reasons but I think it's best if you stop thinking about it too much, because you're going to drive yourself crazy haha :)

how would she be able to know that someone likes her through just saying hi? I remember last year, she stared at me for longer than a minute but I directly stared back into her eyes for about 1-2 seconds before I looked away, then I caught her staring at me in lunch one day too. I don't know if that could still be carried over to where it explains the slow talking and the widening of her eyes, plus the smile she gave me once in the hallway when I said hi, but then I don't think it would explain the sudden change in response to me though. even if she does/may have interest in me possibly, I have a hard time trying to talk to her. I wouldn't really know what I would do either. today I went up to her to ask what something translated to in English, since she learned in natively, she told me what it meant, but I somehow then asked a question If I make her agitated, she said no, then I think she said something with how she's just trying to get this drawing colored and finished. I told her I got rosetta stone for two languages, and she just said with almost no care in that whatever, said "that's nice" then I tried to say other things, but she always says them with brief answers/responses. I straight up asked her why she talked to me louder a few weeks ago and why aren't you as... enthusiastic as before. I'm curious if she was trying to divert it or not, but she respond with "is there a problem?" I just said I just want to know why you talked more to me a few weeks ago and are different now.-----------

She was coloring a drawing she had, which it was practically like all colored in, she said that " I'm-- ?(really)?-- trying to get this done." this was what she said, that was what her excuse was for not talking. i'm just like, coloring takes intense focus or something? I think she was just like yep ( I hope she was kind of picking up the tease/joke.) but after that with a little silence like always after she responds to everything, I just said "fine" and walked away. I don't know if when I was walking away, the guy at a desk that would be close to hers and her were smiling from me being there, my noisy shoes as I was walking away, or just something else. Is that coloring excuse me overreacting to that? or is that kind of a lame BS excuse? I can't tell what she thinks.

I am lost, if she still likes me from last year, I can't really see someone change in behavior from the really friendly to somewhat not doing it. Even if she were to not like me, she still has no excuse to be like that either.
with how I see her talking normally to other people confuses me. I mean, if she likes me, I guess I can picture since she started dating another dude, I could maybe picture that if she likes me, that she may "block" contact with me and not let a friendship happen (like I've sort of said); so then I would still be someone be able to potentially date... I wouldn't care if it would be like 10 years later. she would be worth it. we sound similar actually, I've heard about her, but I don't think shed learn much about me asking people since no one really truly knows about me.
