I really dislike one word replies; that's one of my pet peeves. It's like I'm writing a whole paragraph, and all you have to say is...okay or yes. Then I just realize that there not interested, and I get over the fact that I'm just wasting my time.
I like talking about music; I actually had like a 10 minute conversation about one song. Don't know how it lasted that long, but it was a pretty good conversation; discussing all of the nuances that we picked up on.
I actually like talking about relationships. That usually get me going on and on about something. And fashion is a really good topic. Like, love those pumps, they would look really hot if you wore them type of conversation.
Ask about family and friends. I've been told there are 3 types of discussions people like to have:
- Conversations about people
- Conversations about events
- Conversations about ideals / ideas etc
Pick your category, and see which one gets the best response, and just go with that.
sounds like you're dating the wrong guy..can you imagine going your whole life desperately trying to come up with new conversation topics?...i mean, there are tons of conversational, talkative (and polite -- "idk"...really?) guys out there...go find one of them! you'll be much happier...

We lilk about past experiences with girls, not necessarily sexual ones, but just about how to relate with people who are traumatized, strange, or just unusual...
we like to talk about sports...other chicks...and how annoying and clingy our girlfriends are and all the bad things about her

That really all depends on his interests. Some guys don't crave the constant texting and communication but we enjoy being with you in person. It could be you are texting him too much.
