Would a popular guy like a shy and unpopular girl?

I go to lengths to look good, including well-done makeup and in-trend clothing that fits well and a workout every day, and I think it works. However, I am so shy it isn't funny. I can talk a lot to people but they have to start the conversation. Would a popular guy, or any guy in general, ever be interested in me? I'm worried they would think I'm boring before getting to know me or too much a good girl, which isn't the truth.

Shy girls are the best! I think shy girls are so attractive, I just want to bundle them up and smother them with attention lol. Don't question who you are. It sounds like you're fine and over analyzing your shyness. You're talking to people fine, it's not a requirement that you be able to start conversations with everybody you see. Don't think for a moment that because you're shy, guys won't be interested in you. If they aren't interested in you because of that, f*** them you, deserve better, remember that. I'm a quieter, laid back kind of guy and I've dated the high energy talkative girls in the past and they're nowhere near as attractive to me as shy girls are :)

I am a shy and quiet person too so usually people have to start the conversation with me so that at least I know that they don't find me irritating or annoying.Haha.Guys who approach me are usually the loud and outgoing type although I am not.

I have also read about guys who say that shy females are more mysterious and thus more interesting.Haha.

But once I feel comfortable with the person,I can be very chatty and are able to engage in deep conversations.Great conversations are the foundation of a great relationship,right? :)
