Most females I know are scared of roaches , and they scream. My mom has an intense fear of cockroaches and worse for the flying ones. She told me that :"all of us girls fear roches" I just want to confirm her point of view.

I see a cockroach and I literally freak out, I make my boyfriend kill it with a shoe, I start yelling like a crazy person and jump on top of the bed saying, " Babe, come quick, BABEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"!!! My boyfriend comes running inside the room and yells " The the fuck is the matter" I yell " A roach, A ROACH"
He immediately steps on it like whatever. Then, when he throws it out, he comes back in the room and finds me under the covers, and pulls the covers, saying " Baby, you need to get a grip, it's a damn roach". I say " Yeah, sure, have you seen the size of those nasty ugly cockroaches" He's like " Yeah, I have BIG FUCKING DEAL"!!! I say " I'm sorry baby" He touches my face and says " It's okay, I'm here for you till the day I die, my sweetheart" Then, we end up making out and yeah. The rest is non of your business what else we end up doing. Anyway, my point is I'm extremely scared of cockroaches. so, that's why i picked the letter A!!!

I'm a country girl, so the presence of bugs does not frighten me, they're a part of life. However, cockroaches gross me out because of the conditions they like to live in- generally dirty, damp, dark waste-and-rotting-food-filled areas are their preferred homes. That in general is just gross.

I can deal with animals, manure, spiders, ear wigs, mice, snakes, frogs, blood, guts, throw-up, mud,coyotes, and pretty much anything else you might come across on a farm. But a space dirty enough to attract cockroaches? Not somewhere I really want to be. Am I going to freak out if I see one? No, but I'm probably going to shudder, kill it and then immediately want to clean the entire space. If it's at a restaurant or hotel or something- I'm NEVER going back and may refuse to stay there.

No, cockroaches don't bother me... I actually find them interesting, and would lie on my stomach as a kid to watch them. While growing up, I was (and still am) the summoned person to take care of the "creepy crawlies" and critters that managed to come in.

They don't phase me at all. That goes for snakes, too, which I periodically have to remove from my pool area, and rescue from my neighbors' yard and general sight when there is mass hysteria.

Hmm. My family detests roaches, but we only get afraid if they're flying at us, or running up a leg, then it's a jump and yell.

Though my mom hates spiders, this summer she was refusing to take trash outside at night, saying she didn't want to walk into spiders.

My ex girl, but best friend, would never want me to kill it. We have a big no-bug-killing policy. We capture them in jars and release them outside--this even include spiders.

Nope. I was usually the one in my family my mom sends to get rid of cockroaches. Hell even my brother is freaked by them. But then again, I'm a biology dork. I don't find them cute or anything, but they're certainly not the worst looking things. The suriname toad is worse lol

I have become an exceptional insect/crawlies hunter ! Spiders, cockroaches, iules, wasps... I have a solution for all of them !

The only thing I am not really comfortable with are hornets. We often have several buzzing around without knowing where they come from.

I usually squish whatever runs around before having the time to scream. I'm not actually scared, I just don't like them. It's like a reflex : squish it before it finds somewhere to hide !

im scared of giant millipedes, their legs scuttling makes me shudder. I do like bugs and inverts in general though so maybe I'm an exception, I have several pet tarantulas: a chilean rose, Mexican red knee and an antilles treespider

I'm not afraid per say, though I loath them with a passion because they have so many germs. I don't need anyone to kill it though, I'll shank the little sucker myself. Now spiders the man shall be called for!

I LOVE bugs, any and all. They are fascinating and I love studying them. Every chance I get to hold a bug I examine it and remember it's features. They're so awesome :)
