I like him, he likes me, now what?

So I became pretty decent friends with this guy I sort of always liked, and as we became closer he confessed he liked me. At the time I thought he was kidding, but later when I realized what he meant I confessed that I liked him as well. This happened about a month ago, we still talk etc.. the thing is he hasn't asked me out yet and we don't see each other somewhere so I don't know, will he make a move?

Also, important detail: When asked, he won't say who he likes, and he stresses the fact that he just "likes" her, he doesn't "want" her just yet. Is he taking things slow, or does he just like me as a person? Did I misinterpret this? Is he doing this to make himself look available?

Any advice would be helpful, thanks
