Guys, he rejected me but we're matched on tinder? Why is he acting like this?

I had a thing with this guy a couple of months ago and it lasted for a couple of weeks. He was the one to approach me and everything went fine, but all of the sudden he stopped texting me and he told me that "he wasn't ready" for anything anytime soon. I really liked this guy and I'm kinda not over him. And now he completely avoids and ignores me, and he can't even look me in the eye anymore - but I notice that he often tries to make himself "visible" to me.. as in, he'd walk right in front of me, and walk past me a lot of times, and when we cross paths he walks really close to me, but he can't look at me anymore. Anyway, we just got matched on Tinder and I'm so confused...
What is going on through this guys mind?

basically the fact u were matched doesn't mean anything... if he rejected u, chances r he doesn't wanna talk 2 u anymore

yeah I know.. he was the one who started the whole thing though, and everything that was going on seemed fine and he did seem really interested, and then all of the sudden he turned cold.. I wonder what happened during those 2 days that made him not interested
