"Beautiful" from a guy usually means (A) he is lying (B) he is idealizing you and will snap out of it one day [usually a guy with little experience and/or one that "falls in love" quickly] (C) he might actually have standards and think you are one of the better looking girls around
not sure, doesn't happen often. will report back when it does and I grill them on why they're complimenting me instead of just accepting the compliment.

I always wanna say that to my crush but I feel like 1) she's too casual and 2) she'd think it's weird cause I never said it in the nearly 2 years I've known her.

If you're beautiful to us we will say it. Especially if you don't think you are because if we say you're beautiful we are obviously interested oh how you look at that moment and you don't need to change a thing.
