This is a really long, droning on, reply. If you aren't determined to read it: don't. :D
First off: I am not experienced in dating or any relationships whatsoever even though I'm nearly 21.
I keep to myself, leave people the h*ll alone, and (I'm female by the way :D) and no guy of my pasty-white caucasian race has ever hit on me or tried to ask me out--which I was completely fine with. As I state above, I just go around trying not to get noticed. My specialty is trying to be the human chameleon and to disappear. :D
It will be read probably as "crazy", but I've never found anyone really attractive before. Like most of the guys I've seen and been around are the thin, scrawny, indoor, not masculine in any way, and it's a real turn-off for me. I've never had any crushes on anybody and I'm very straight (I could be classified as homophobic actually).
That tactic didn't work for me on a few Mexican guys I worked with. At first they left me alone and I just treated them like anybody else: with respect and kindness. Then they started to become curious in the girl who didn't have friends, who didn't chat with anyone, who didn't live with anyone, no boyfriend...namely me.
I'm a Christian. Non-denominational. I live by the Book and do not live by traditions of anyone. Apparently that is a draw to this guy who is currently trying to peel information about myself out and I think he realizes that I'm not interested in some fling. I play for keeps. I don't want kids, but I want a friend, partner, helper, a good man. Not just anybody can fill those shoes and I am fully willing to go through life alone. So far, he isn't deterred, and he is the only guy who has ever tried to "chase" me.
So, in my case, his personality, the fact that he acts and looks like a man, and that so far my personality hasn't stopped him from prying into my quiet life is what made me interested in this particular Mexican man.

i only know some spanish and mexican guys though, so what follows only goes for the:
they seem to be more fun. like they have more temper compared to somelame white guys (lol sorry...). they're usually more charming (could be bad though, if you're a player), girls also think they're more agressive than white guys (for most girls that's a plus). and you know how to have fun and party ;)
is it possible that your girlfriend is outgoing, bubbly and even a partygirl? because I'm like that and I love latinos / spanish guys. they treat me like a princess, love it ^^ but my more shy and introverted friends don't like the aggressive approach of spanish guys. and how controlling and jealous they become, once you get to know them.

I'm half white/hispanic but I mostly date hispanic/black/mixed guys but for some reason white guys don't like me :/ I don't know why though.
some girls just like hispanic guys (you shouldn't say "spanish", spanish people are from SPAIN, you're hispanic or latino meaning you're from the new world countries that speak spanish).
im hispanic too and I think they might see us as "exotic". that's how I've heard white guys describe latin girls at least. also it makes sense, I mean they have different genes and people are often attracted to that (it actually creates genetically healthy babies).
