Me and a guy friend of 4 years have recently become really close. We confide in each other a lot. He's a little hard to actually crack open because he's really withdrawn (shyness, personality), and I think that's what I find so alluring about him. He tells me things he tells no one else, although it is rare, I really appreciate that he gives me so much of his trust.

I try to be really open with him about how I feel, and I recently told him that I sincerely enjoy talking to him. He also agreed that he felt the same way. I like him, but I'm having a hard time analyzing him because he is very secretive about his feelings, compared to me.

What does it mean when a guy says that he likes talking to a girl? Does it mean anything beyond friendship to him?

your friend sounds a lot like me. I too have a close female friend that I talk about deep stuff with. my friend is very hot but she is just that a friend and I would never ruin our friendship by trying to get in her pants or in her heart because to be honest I'm not good at either of them.

Guy speak means that he actually means what he says. Crazy, right? If he says he likes talking to you, he likes talking to you.
