Tell me about it. Everyday I come across sucky people who just really suck and make the world a sucky place to be. They put you down for being different...whether you're gay or you're fat or you're not white or you're a nerd, whatever, these sucky people just tear you apart and make you feel insufficient. They think they are so perfect because they fit the standard of whatever and if you don't measure up then you're a loser. And they look at you funny and talk behind your back and do stupid stuff to make you feel worse and more awkward than you already feel...they just suck so damn much. But they're really unhappy people once you get to the core of the onion. They don't really have solid identities and they don't have the guts to say or do anything different. Don't pay attention to the sucky people of the world; afterall, many of the greatest contributors to society have been "crazy," social outcasts.
I have never met anybody who thought they were perfect. Maybe they thought they were better than me in some way, and maybe they were, but so what, you always find people who are better at certain things.
What do you expect people to do here (I am assuming you are referring to this site)? You post a question, they have to form a picture in their mind in order to give what they think is the best response. If they are wrong, well, they don't get best answer. Too bad.
People lack objectivity -simple as that.
They don't view themselves as they view the world, so the world get the shaft and they are perfect.
Alot of people that are full of themselves really don't feel so hot about themselves like they want people to believe. Some people truly do feel that they're better than everyone else, while some will hide behind a 'front' to protect who they really are. And yes, I've met a lot of people like this, but I stay the hell away from them, I just don't mesh really well with that type of personality~
Some people feel the need to build themselves up by tearing others down, often indicative of low self-esteem. If only those people knew how many great people they were missing out on because of them acting like arrogant jackasses, but hey, it's their loss.

Sometimes people like to point out your flaws to make themselves feel better about theirs, because lets face it, everyone has some!
