Where/How do you get your needs for mental stulation filled?

We talk a lot about physical and emotional health, but not about the need that many have for mental stimulation. I'm curious how everyone fills this urge to learn and engage the mind - especially those not in a school setting.

I'm in the Air Force working in aircraft maintenance, specializing in jet engines. I work alongside other specialists as well, so when I get bored and I don't have work I just go out and learn a part of another specialist's job. My curiosity is satiated and I've just expanded my skills. Winning!

I usually get my mental stulation from reading, introspective thinking, hell, even video games for boredom.

Mental stulation is an important part of my life.

Mostly pretty Chinese women. I'm in China teaching; the country is so fascinating, the women are.. wow!!

What do you read and by what means do you normally travel?

I read a lot - fiction and non fiction. Im really interested in history, social issues, etc so usually related to those areas. I travel somewhat often, I save my ass off during semester and go away on breaks :) this year I went to Malaysia and Sri Lanka on summer break, and next week I leave for Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland :)
