Does anyone know what type of sickness this is?

This all started happening yesterday afternoon. I had a major headache and nausea. Whenever I walked, my balance was not right. Once it started reaching 6 or 7pm, I started shivering and developed goosebumps. I put two comforters on me and the room temp was 72 as always. I was shivering for about three hours and then that's when I started feeling like major crap. I started sweating and even put the air conditioner on at 65 but I was still sweating. So I took literally everything off of me. I drank a lot of water which tasted weird as well as a banana, which tasted horrible. Does anyone know what is wrong with me and what should I do? I'm an NOT going to the doctor because I find them lazy and evil.

Those symptoms could be a list of many things. From your description and how you were reacting to the situation the top of my list would be General Anxiety/Panic attack/Tension because with each new thing you tried to solve it and worried more about it, or at least it appears that way from how you described it. After that I'd think either food poisoning, allergic reaction, hypoglycemia (diabetes), or something like heat exhaustion. It could be a lot things. If it's still happening you should go see your doctor.

You could have vertigo causes nausea , balance issues it will make you very sick
it can be inner ear infection, It can be sinus affection will affect your balance
drink lots liquids , Gatorade, Tea, Water, Orange juice
lay off too much coffee your dehydrated . You got chills cause you got fever

That is weird. The patient I caregive for, her husband just recently had vertigo an went to the hospital. Maybe it is something in their house.

I don't drink coffee and I drink 5 bottles of water everyday

I would get checked cause if that person
you care for has a infection that set off
his vertigo the infection could set in
the same area with you or like we said
it could be something in their house
causing it to happen. With water just
make sure not too much cause it can
lower your sodium levels too low
but if drink water , maybe add some-
thing like Gatorade for your sodium
levels , Also when my sodium levels
were too low, i got dizzy and light -
headness

If you have an ear infection or any infection at all, you should go to the doctor and they will give you antibiotics. Drinking and resting might not be enough

Sounds like just a flu or virus that has to work its way out.

No :( I'm not sure if this is the cause, but I do have a red bun bite on my arm, it's red and then swollen around the bite

don't think it's vertigo. you don't get vertigo from people

I think it sounds like a virus. the chills, sweating, nausea, etc all sound like a fever. if you had vertigo you would literally be unable to stand but there aren't fever like symptoms typically associated with vertigo

it could also be a summer cold which can be worse (symptom wise) than a normal cold

Sounds like some type if a virus, most likely flu or influenza. You should check your temperature. If it's alarming, go to the hospital. If the sickness lasts several day, go to a hospital.

Hydrate a lot, try to eat as well as you can and rest.

Are you peeing a lot? Shakey or dizzy? Have you lost weight latley? Constantly thirsty?

All of those symptoms except the losing weight part (I wish)

Get to a doctor asap... they are symptoms of diabetes. .. not to worry it could be minor but it also could be serious... especially if you have a family history...

No one in my family has diabetes and I eat healthy. I shop at Trader Joes for organic foods for heavens sake.

I'm also 5'9 and 112 pounds, I am pretty sure I don't have diabetes

Type two is based on weight ect... but type one can but anyone can have it... the peeing often is a tale tell sign... also symptoms like that can relate to issues with your glands. I am type one diabetic so I am not jumping to conclusions. I think it would be wise to go in. It can't hurt. Best wishes on this...
