There are a million things that could be causing it. ( I am a med student NOT a doc... yet) Have you been doing a lot of push ups? Is it acid re-flux/heart burn? You had it before? what caused it to go away?
Do you smoke? Do you exercise? Did you recently over exercise? Did you sleep in a weird position? Did you have all night sex with no sleep.
The key is what brings it on? exercise? sex? diet? Are you feeling real pain or getting short of breath?

chest pain/discomfort is a symptom of heart attack... could be a bunch of other things too but probably not a bad idea to see a doctor.
I have what us called acid reflux and I take anti acid go buy some cheap stuff see if it helps.
