How good does Bare Minerals work?

My mom said its really good for your skin, but I just want to know if it's good at covering up acne and things like that.

i used it for years and I thought I loved it until my dermatologist said that it was not good for skin with acne and even irritated it more and didt do a great job covering it up for me. So I decided to switch back to clinique a year ago and my acne actually cleared up. Let me recommend something although its not cheap the only makeup you should use from department stores like macys and nordstroms the stuff from like cvs is made cheaply and not good for you skin. The best foundation is clinique superfit makeup oil free long-wear its called if you go to the counter there then the ladies will see what shade fits your skin best.

There are lots of coverups that are good for covering up acne. You never know until you find one that works for you. A makeup that works for your mom, might not be committable with your skin. Luckily for me my mom and I are, we both use a Neutrogena Coverup Stick (it looks like lipstick). It's really good and smooth! For some people powder works better than a paste, but to really get rid of acne... find a good face wash and wash your face! Best of Luck, J

if you want to get to the root of the problem

may I suggest

diet, eat healthily-no sugar, no fat, less dairy

regiment-cleanse, tone, acne gel (benzoyl peroxide in the pharmacy), moisturizer spf protection and spot treatment at night

makeup-natural minerals

and there you go. nope it doesn't cover well, I'd suggest using concealer , a tiny bit to help with that. :-) cheers

I use clean and clear, it usually works, but sometimes I just get those spots.

its alright my sister bought it and I also have acne I used it but since my skin is oily I felt it did ok I think you should try it you might like it and if you don't you can always return it even if its all gone if your interested in it then why not just try it and get it over with...answer my questiion please>...
