I live in South Carolina and have healthy connections medicaid. I currently have braces and while it straightened most of my teeth I still have an underbite at the front and want to get corrective jaw surgery done, but when I went on the website it only said for emergency services only. Is it still possible for me to get the surgery done on medicaid?
Unless your jaw condition is seen as something that threatens your health, either now or in the future, it would probably be considered cosmetic surgery and not covered.

Good luck to you, it's painful.
