I felt like this all through high school & my first year of college.
Everyone else seemed to know what they wanted to do, lol
I was going to go for Vet tech because I went to boces for it, but realized that that wasn't what I wanted to do.
Then I was thinking of going for culinary arts because I love food and I've always wanted to know how to cook, but I knew I didn't wanna do that either..
Then I was going to go for nursing just because I had nothing I wanted to do so I figured I might as well go for a stable job. Then I knew I didn't want that.
I was so frustrated that I was the only one who didn't know what to do
Especially since there are so many different careers out there that I know I didn't know of.
Then like.. my second year of college?
I figured it out and got really happy.
My friend would always complain about him needing a massage and I felt bad that he was in pain all the time
Then some lady at the store started freaking out because she said I had beautiful hands
& I was being silly with my friends saying that i wish I could use my beautiful hands to heal people
And then somehow in my head I was like MASSAGE. Omg, holy crap guys I can give massages
And they laughed they had no idea I was serious, lmao.
So that's pretty much how I found it. It was pretty random & i realized that people get massages, but it never really registered in my head "oh, yeah! This is a career. I can actually do this too"
So that's how it all went down, lol.
Majoring in massage therapy then I'm going to go to school to be a PTA and do massage to help pay for that.

For me, inspiration came overtime from periodical introspection that delved into the various positive and negative experiences in my life. It's all culminated into this:
Academic: PhD in clinical psychology (with emphases in psychodynamic psychotherapy and behavioral genetics) and a post-doctoral certificate in psychoanalysis
Professional: Private practice in psychonanalysis and psychotherapy specializing in children, adolescents and adults with lysosomal storage diseases and survivors of abuse in private residential treatment centers. Also, an adjunct professor position in psychology & psychosomatic medicine at a renowned university.
Personal: Married to the love of my life with [three?] kids living in Manhattan's upper east side.
I'm planning on becoming a CPA and using that to either help me move to Melbourne Australia or get a job with the San Fran 49ers. I really wanna get to Australia though.
