Thanks in advance!! :)
What causes swollen ankles and feet & how can I eliminate it? :)?
Thanks in advance!! :)
My mom gets swollen ankles and feet often if she walks a lot, or sits for too long. Removing sodium is a good move, but if you don't drink enough water your body will think of it as a danger and hold onto water in your body. She noticed that drinking lots of water helps, and putting her feet up when she lies down. Hers is something to do with blood circulation though.
Thank you so much :) I think mild dehydration might be the cause because I hardly ever drink anything throughout the day, lol :) Thanks for your input & hopefully the problem doesn't get worse over time
i heard swollen ankles are a symptom of kidney problems (or was it liver?) ... I don't know id get it checked ASAP
Thanks :) I'll look into it for sure
Your muscles could be getting too strained from working out. You could have edema which can be
from arthritis , standing too long , certain way of standing. Maybe a Orthopedic could help you
You can have ankle swelling from early onset of heart disease such as heart failure.
Thank you so much :) You provided a very helpful answer & I think it's something worth looking into/checking out :)
You're welcome :-)))
That's a question better left to your doctor to answer. Otherwise you are going to get nothing but opinions that may or may not be right.
Thanks :) I probably will go to my doctor sometime this week :) That's probably the safest bet
Good to hear. I would do that if I were you just to rule things out.
Oh and you're welcome!

See your doctor could be heart related.
Thanks for your help :) I think that's probably the best move :) But is it possible to have heart problems at 19 years old?
Aw, I'm sorry to hear that :( I'm going to get it checked out soon just in case it's something serious. I really appreciate your knowledgeable answer :)
you may have gout
I really appreciate your input :) I don't think it's gout though because it's more common in men than women & usually occurs during or after menopause :) I think I'm a little too young for that, lol :P Also I don't have any pain in those areas (which was one of the main symptoms of gout). At least I can eliminate that from the list of possibilities :) Thank you so much for your help! :)
