What age is considered a kid? cause many tens in high school are more sleep deprived then their parents so the only way they can concentate is to have coffee or they would be sleeping during class. personally i dont drink cofee cause i dnt like it except during midterms and finals where i need it, but i do understand why some students need it. Anything younger than high school i dont believe should have coffee considering it is a drug

Like, on a regular or semi-regular basis? I don't think anyone under the age of like 15-16 should drink it regularly, considering that coffee is addictive.
Caffeine is a drug and as such I do not think kids should partake in it too often especially since many of them do not know the possible repercussions. However, coffee has several beneficial properties and is believed to help combat heart disease and have many other beneficial health effects.
Well don't let a kid drink five cups of your strongest coffee, (they probably wouldn't want to anyway) they way I got on coffee was i was allowed a small cup every now and then.

Like what age if a kid are you talking about because I've been drinking coffee since I was 8 and I'm still the same me coffee doesn't do anything to me except for wake me up put a tasty flavor in my mouth and het me socializing
I used to drink tea as young as eight. Coffee isn't much different (though iced coffee is usually served high in sugar, which causes it's own set of issues). If you were giving them percolated coffee it might be different.
Coffee for everyone!
images2.cafemomstatic.com/.../...227219704_med.jpgHighly caffeinated drinks should be for adults only.
I'm basically of the opinion that kids can have some tea (mostly green or white), but the rest isn't something that they need.I don't know any kid who wants to drink coffee. Sure, they want to try, but when you allow them to drink from your cup, they will most likely say 'blech, I'm gonna wash out my mouth now'.
Maybe not regularly like most adults, but I don't see why children shouldn't have coffee. Well, depends on the kid I guess.
it's horrible for developing bodies to drink coffee. just horrible. so no kids should not drink coffee at all
What do you mean by kid? I wouldn't let a 5 year old drink coffee, but I would probably let a 12 year old drink coffee.
I don't see a reason why kids can't, but I do think that it's best their parents don't let them go overboard on the coffee.
Coffee is very dehydrating
Always drink water
Water is best
And water is the only thing aside from milk that should be drunk by kidsI used to drink it when I was little, but i think itd be a lot healthier to keep them away from itttt
Here EVERYONE drinks coffee, adults AND children! 0.0
I think coffee has bad side effects to kids... But I really want to try one! DX
Adults should drink coffee only, kids are too small, I wouldn't want them to be addicted like me..
It's not illegal so I don't see why kids shouldn't drink coffee.
I started drinking coffee when I was 13 so it's pointless for me to say that kids shouldn't be allowed to drink coffee
If a kid is hyper active, a cup of joe might do him good.
I wouldn't let my nieces or nephew try it until they're older. I wouldn't say just only adults.
Eh I wouldn't want my hypothetical kids anywhere near that much caffeine lol
Is it still true coffee stunts growth?
