Do you see circles and squares when you close your eyes or random images or images that you've seen before?

This happens during that sleep phase (i believe it's called sleep-paralysis), when i close my eyes for 10-15 mins and "watch" some dream. although it's not R. E. M. phase, because i can feel my body, yet i cannot control it.

after "waking up" and be able to control my body again, and still have my eyes closed, after the dream is over, i see squares and circles spinning around most of the times. sometimes though i might see some random image, like a forest or a river... or even some scene that occured during the day... sth like a "replay"

anybody else with similar experience?

what those squares/circles/random images/replays mean at all?

Interesting question.
I know what you're talking about. Sometimes it feels like I'm watching a videotape or like I am watching a series of images one after another.
Other times I see umm random names written, or numbers. I don't think I ever had a replay or a scene which occured during the day though :/.

I have visual snow, which is more pronounced the darker it is. I see billions of twinkly blinking little lights when I close my eyes (or in a pitch black room).

I've had sleep paralysis as well, but without visual hallucinations. some people, like yourself, do see thing during the episodes though.

Sounds like you had a bad trip, remember to stay away from the LSD/ecstasy. Drugs are bad, #TalkToFrank

Anyway, nothing like that has happened to me. You might want to stop watching TV or listening to the "numbers" radio station/frequency

Sometimes when I was a kid I would close my eyes and see or remember things from when I was really young

I have heard of sleep paralysis before but. haven't experienced it. I'm not totally sure if the shapes mean anything but I doubt it

I sée words but they go by too fast it happens more when i read that why i dont do it a lot
