Why, why not?

Being fat is not like being considered ugly. It's not some subjective quality that depends on the perception of others. It's a demonstrable objective fact. If you have a problem with the *fact* that you are fat, then do something about it. It's getting a little old having to listen to outrageous distortions of reality in the interest of being sensitive to people's feelings. Go be a crybaby somewhere else.
i dont like it , its horrible my girl was a little chubby at 15 stone when she was younger and other girls bullied her for it , she proved them wrong though she went and did performing arts did loads of excecrise! she's now a curvy size 10 girl and one of girls that bullied her we found on fb is now 32 stone!
It's just kinda irrelevant haha.
Like 'oh the pretty fat girl from last night', 'oh that sexy white/black guy', 'that sweet gay guy'
Like what's the importance in it haha.. But then if it's just used like that to help describe who they're talking about then whatever lol, would prefer not being remembered as 'the fat chick' tho!
Not really. I used to be called fat when I was younger and took no offence at all. I find it to be a descriptive term. If it describes your body accurately and the person who used it meant no offence then I don't see why any should be taken. You can always lose weight if you're not happy with how you look.
This^^^
I think fat is such a mean sounding word with the percussive "T" at the end. It's so vicious.
I go with Gabriel Iglesias' system if I want to be specific about someone

It depends. If fat is their most prominent feature then that's how you would describe them to a stranger. "In a room full of short girls, have you seen the fat one? " But saying it unnecessarily is rude. "You're fat and nothing looks good on you."
Its usually a backhanded compliment when said in that context, I would prefer terms like "overweight" if you really have to say that about me for example.
If you don't wanna be called fat then lose some damn weight. Simple as that.
Yes, why can't someone say, if they want to say anythign at all, that the said person is vertically challenged and horizontally complimented intsead of saying he/she is fat -.- Some people are beyond me
hahahhahahahah :D
I would not be offended. It is your body after all. If you are not happy with it, you can lose weight.
I would be just concerned with my health.
yeah i think it is cause no one wants to be called fat bc its generally viewed as insulting
Depends. Is morbidly obese also insulting? What is the pc word?
Just fat. You're not even meaning to insult them, it's surrouned by compliments in a sentence. (Some people still get offended like its a damn curse words no matter what kind of sweet nothings surround it, so Im curious.)
It totally depends on health not how fat someone is
No. It's an adjective just like ugly, bland, disgusting...
yeah i prefer "chubby" in this case :-)
sounds like a compliment sandwich to me.
Yeah its insulting thats why i call them hippos
Yeah I think it is
