Grandma has eye problems and still wears eyeliner?

My grandma has gotten multiple eye surgeries and lost the ability to make tears many years ago. Yet she still wears eyeliner everyday and no other kind of makeup. I even went to the eye doctor with her and they told her to quit it with the eyeliner in a very serious tone. I talked to her about it and she said that they were just joking around and didn't mean it. Then she went on to say that it is one of the things that makes her feel pretty and it has been one of the beauty standards for a long time. I told her that she is beautiful without it and she doesn't need it yet she still wears it everyday. What would make her want to continue to use it if she has all of these heath issues and concerns with her eyes?

The older you get it's often the stubborn you get she doesn't want to , just let her it is her life and she probably knows it better than you and know herself what the risks are

uh.. i guess you have to take the eyeliner away from her and hide it somewhere

Take her to get her makeup done by a professional or something and have them do something different than eyeliner.
