Best thing to do when you get down on yourself is to go do something you feel is positive.
it can be fitness, meal prep, cleaning, organizing or even just go spread some positivity here on GAG.
If i get worked up about something, i just go do something else that i know is good for me.

Okay, first, leave your current friends, and find better ones if yours can't stand up for you.
And second, FUCK what others say about you if it is NOT true. The closest person to you in this world is YOU, so stand up for her! She's always been there for you so why can't you be there for her?
I used to be very pessimistic and depressed. So was my boyfriend when we first got together 3 years ago. I forced myself (and my boyfriend did all this, too) to talk positive. To say good things. Eventually, I didn't have to force the words and soon, they became natural thoughts.
