Before
she drew a line on her eyelid to look like she has double eyelids O_O
After
In all honesty I think the answer is yes. In our culture we defined beauty as more than just health and facial symmetry but also tall, slender figures with big eyes
I bet that if guys didn't know there was surgery done they'd rate the after pictures more attractive. But you're not gonna get that kind of answer here, because saying a girl looks better after surgery isn't exactly politically correct.
And neither should it be. I mean gtting surgery on your eyes to be slightly more attractive to men, that is not normal! That's sick
I don't even see the difference between pic 1 and 3, eyelid crease wise lol she just looks wide-eyed in pic 3, like she's staring.. not really a good look.
I don't think she looks better in pic 4 than in pic 2.
Verdict: It seems like a waste of money to me.
I just read in the comments below that she's Nana from After School, so I googled her.
From the looks of this before & after pic, she seems to also have gotten epicanthoplasty at the inner corners of her eyes to make her eyes longer.

I personally think that they do look better with double eyelid by getting plastic surgery... It makes their eye bigger and stand out ^_^ ... That's why a lot of kpop girls look so pretty, by plastic surgery... They get done their nose, eyes, and yeah..
I prefer Natural beauty. Some of my friends have monolids and they are gorgeous. I find plastic surgery not true to self. It's sad how people want to change their looks when they should just be proud of who they truly are.
I would never go to my s/o and say "Heh you need to do this." You never know if there are any adverse health effects, dry eye, etc.. for doing that surgery and I would never want to see another human being suffer for altering themselves, or feel a compelling need to alter themselves to be happy or pretty.
That being said, those girls did a very good job with their appearances and their surgeries. I have to respect anyone who makes advancements at looking beautiful. I'm so proud of those girls (if they did it for the right reason) :)
I wouldn't recommend surgery at all, because every woman is unique in their own way and its this uniqueness that makes them attractive. Trying to look like someone or a certain way will remove her individual uniqueness and eventually if to many woman go through with surgery, then we would be left with to many women looking the same, and there's no fun in that, so for me every woman should grasp her talents and not want to change them, x

Plastic surgery... that's kinda... deceiving ain't it?
Yes , I think it does look better but am I for it... eh
Anyway... OHHH SO that's what that dark lines above some girl's eyelids are LOL
I always wanted to ask that but never did cos it'd be weird if I did lol
hmm... maybe i should get plastic surgery as well lol jk... I wonder what should I change... oh man... what to change...
How do you even know what to change lol?
That's not very nice of them...
Anyway COME ON LOL
There has to be something to change , hmmmm how about...
Plastic surgery to look a bit more like Gordon Levitt?

Morphed my face with Gordon Levitt once , then with my original face again.. this is what i get.

Well that's settled then lol
Is it tho?
Cos now I suddenly have an impulse to get some upgrades for muh face.
What did he do?
Damn. Must be expensive.
Not that it looks bad Mei but... if that look is artificial than rather not.
What's your opinion on the make-up worn on the "before" pic? I don't think it's the surgery that made the difference, I have the impression it's her make-up on the nr 1 picture which is a big turn-off.
What I meant was her right lower eyelid (left on the picture)... look how the eyelashes stick together.
To me that just looks "wrong"... perhaps too much make-up makes them stick together like this.
I'm not really a fan of surgery to look better... prefer it when people are just themselves :-)
I don't like it at all. I mean, it's their bodies to do as they please with, but I personally find it off-putting that they didn't like their natural eyelids.
She still looks good but it wasn't necessary for it.
Take this actress for example. She is half korean and half white.
She has this girl's eye in the original photo before surgery.

Side note: The actress is Lindsay Price.
Well to be fair the last picture is the best but I think she looked just as pretty before, I hate to see women getting cosmetic surgery instead of learning to love their perceived "flaws"
Her before picture looks like a member of After School. She looks super cute before! If she could get the same effect with make up why do ps :(
I think she looked better naturally. I don't really like the porcelain doll look that it seems a lot of celebrities go for. Women all over the world can look better naturally playing to their strengths.
They do look better... they're eyes look softer
But they're natural eyes weren't bad either
I'd rather use that money on something else
don´t see a hughe difference. might as well leave it natural.
I would not recommend it. All natural is so much better.
she looks best in the 2nd and 4th pictures.
I still think she's attractive in the other two tho.
No difference. She was totally gorgeous from the start.
Asian eyes are so uniquely beautiful. No one else has it but them or Asian mixes so it's odd that they want Boring round eyes like everyone else. That girl looked better before. Now her eyes look injured because she has that weird bag underneath.
I'd fully accept a pair of Asian eyes: not uglier, just different.
I certainly wouldn't pay money for this.
Yeah I barely see a difference, and honestly, who the hell has their eyelids modified anyways?
It's weird that someone actually goes and does that, ya know?
Tell your family that if they wanted you to have "bigger eyes", then they should have provided the proper genetic code for that. But as that is not the case, you are as perfect right now as your genetics allow you to be. Simple.
Her eyes were already fairly big before. Natural is always better.
Any surgery to improve one's self is wrong, in my opinion. You should be proud of how your parents made you.
Natural is better :) Plus the eyelid surgery sounds painful :o
Both are nice looking, so I think it's better to save the money and not have it done.
No... natural will always be better.
