A guy in my class takes glances at me when he thinks I don't notice and a friend of him caught him doing that and referred to him as loverboy after that. He never tries to initiate any conversation with me and seems shy and passive around me. I looked up his instagram and saw that he has a strong preference for tall blonde women while I am petite and Asian.
Recently he met a blonde girl (she is not that pretty imho) in a class we both are currently taking and I noticed that he was very flirty, loud and try hard when he was talking to her and not shy at all. When he sits next to her he sometimes leans in very closely as if he was about to kiss her. With me he acts way more reserved but he still has some kind of interest since he glances at me from afar and even when he sits next to her.
I'm pretty sure this blonde girl is closer to his dream girl than me which explains why he acts different around her. My questions are:
1. What does he want from me if I am not his type at all?
2. How do you act with a dream girl as opposed to a girl you find average or only semi attractive?

@Tharithi I don’t get what you’re trying to say, you are an Asian lady yourself but having those stereotypes? There are tall, thin people with curves, and I can list down here my sis, and some of my colleagues.
Asian do have small eyes comparing to Western girls, and face features are different, yet a lot of my European/American friends like those features in their Asian wifes.
To asker: there are some ways to actually explain this guy’s behavior. One of those is that you may look different in your class and he is curious, nothing more 🤷🏻♀️

I see. My observation from many couples is that those girlfriend standard (which you say is blonde, skinny and stuffs) may influence how a person choose their girl/boyfriend and spouses. However, there are cases when the partner one chooses is totally different from their gout/imagination/standard, as that person founds something special, or develop special feeling for their partner based on daily interaction/observation.
What he does to your blonde classmate, there are also cases that he is testing you/ making you jealous/ find out if he likes her but still want to observe you/ found her more approachable, I don’t know because I’m not him. I guess you can update your question and ask the guys. But if he is not in a relationship with that girl and know he has a crush on you, what do you feel about him?
Honestly I tend to be shy if I really like her.
