How to make my skin lighter?

I'm black and I want to my skin a little lighter. Any tips guys. Beside bleaching. Does chemical peels work. I'm thinking about using a dark spot corrected.

Lol I didt realize peoe felt so strong about this subject. im not trying to become white or tan I just want my skin 2 shade lighter. Matching up with my arms and legs.

I've tried to get rid of color unevenness various times over the years and have never found anything that helps, really. A lot of the stuff sold for it breaks out your skin, so you don't want to use it on your face. If you look at the ingredients and it says "hydroquinone," stay away. I bought Palmer's Cocoa Butter with Vitamin E Skin Therapy drops, and it does change your skin... but you have to be careful with it. It has Retinol in it, so if you put it on and then go out in the sun your skin will actually get darker. So, that's a hassle, as well. Might want to use it in the winter if you try it.

Best bet is doing like celebs and just covering it up with different makeup designed for that.

but if you're really serious about lightening it, i guess you should probably ask a doctor. everybodys skin reacts differently to different things

It requires harsh chemicals. There are no ways to lighten your skin tone without affecting your health.

Stay out of the sun, scrub your skin regularly (to remove dead skin) and wear sunscreen, there's nothing you can do but bleach to get lighter. And I hope I don't need to tell you how bad bleaching is. Not sure why you'd want to be 'lighter', I personally love being black.

There is Whitenicious by Dencia and you should also take some sunscreen even when applying Whitenicious on you. I know you have skin discoloration but there's nothing wrong with wanting to be lighter too the only ones that get offended are the darker skin people with race issues.

Why can't I look the best I can loom it taking care of my body. It like getting ur teeth whitening. It doesn't do anything but it looks better. Why get ur hair cut it doesn't do any thing but it looks better. I'm not try to become white or tan. I want to match up with the rest of my body. Im Take care of my personal apperance.

That's not the same analogy. Getting a haircut is a semi permanent process that doesn't hurt the body of cause harm in any possible way. (Unless the barber really messes up and slices you open) plus hair grows back.
Teeth whitening also doesn't do much either because the more you eat, the more stains...
Essentially what I'm trying to say it, no matter how many products you use to lighten your face, you're putting your health and skin at risk. You're also increasing your chances of skin cancer because now your face is so vulnerable and exposed. It's practically impossible to "match up" because exposure create different pigments.
