Can my followers see the comments l leave on other peoples pictures on instagram?

If I comment on someones picture on instagram, will my followers see this?

When I go on the newsfeed section, it only shows the pictures my followers have likes and not the ones they have left comment on. However, im not sure about this.
Do they only see pictures I have likes or also commented? If so where can they see this because I can't find it from my followers.

The only way they can see what pictures you have commented on is if you both follow that person, otherwise it doesn't come up on their newsfeed.

Yeah, there's a way they can, but it's kind of a convoluted way to get to it.
