It's controversial (mostly because not very many people know how to do it right) but fasting works well and sort of "resets" your body. There's a lot of bro science out there that says you always have to feed the body to get the metabolism working but just drinking water is enough to get your metabolism going and if there is nothing readily available as a food source when the hunger hits then your body starts working on fat stores for energy. Don't go crazy with it but one or two days a week (I would only recommend one to start) where you only drink water and maybe take a multi-vitamin that can digest well without food to make sure you are still getting nutrients (although this is not necessary). Obviously if you have health complications like diabetes, hypoglycemia, etc. THEN DO NOT FAST WITHOUT DOCTOR SUPERVISION. Be careful if you decide to do this but if you are a generally healthy person it can be done without effecting your health and can actually be a positive thing for your body. I would recommend talking to your doctor about it first to make sure you won't have any issues. Safety first. Best wishes.

Eating healthy and working out regularly
You might not see any result in the first week, but it'll come so don't give up
I am trying a diet where you eat peanut butter to curb your appetite when hungry. you still eat regular meals obvously such as vegetables and meat but when you are craving food - eat a table spoon of peanut butter which is 100 calories instead of a chocolate bar, an ice cream cone, a serving of guacamole, a full meal etc... Also I know a 50 year old woman with diabetes who lost 80 pounds in 6 months by cutting grain completely out of her diet eating nothing except meat, vegetables and dairy produce. This could work if you have an issue with grain. Some people lose weight on low carb diets MOST gain the weight back once they get off the diet but not ALL of them do.
cabbage soup diet or atkins diet- you can find both online. I have lost between 12 and 18 lbs after just 14 days on both.
