How can I get rid of my face tan?

Hey, I use to hang out in the sun too much doing things like walking and riding bikes. And now my skin has darkened and I am having trouble getting it back to lighter shade. I have stopped going out in the sun for two months now. But I don't see it changing. *worried*

You need to wash your face with a soap for your type of face skin (dry, greasy, etc.) twice a day: one in the morning when you get up and one at night before going to sleep. If you wash it this often you're going to lose the tan faster. Hands are the first part of our body to lose the tan because we wash them often.

It can take between 2 And 5 years to lose that tan, depending on how much sun expouser you get from now on.

Your skin has adopted to being exposed to the suns rays, For long periods of time and tanning is the defense against the sun. start wearing a wide brim hat when you go outside as well.

Oh I have another solution and its not harmful at all and it will speed up the process

You a face lotion or face wash that has alpha hydroxy acid in it... what that does is it slowly removes the outter layer of your skin in a gentle way.. its used a lot for blemishes and and dark spots on your face like say from acne... it really helps to clear things up

Lastly use one or the other for now.. face wash or lotion... lotion is probably better since it stays on your skin... it should have spf in it since the lotion will slowly remove dead skin and outter layer

Also should only be used for about 6-8 weeks then swap out with your normal stuff then go back after a month again

You might some tingling at first but its normal and its small doses so dont worry
