My cousin quit with the help of a no nonsense regimen another one used. Basically, step 1 was to replace the urge with something healthy and use work breaks to do pushups or sit-ups instead of smoking. Secondly, figure out how much you spend daily on cigarettes and at the end of the day, put that amount of money in a jar. After a while, you can use that money to take yourself and/or significant other on a nice vacation just by quitting smoking.
E cig by far.. I did gum.. Patches.. Cold turkey... None of it worked for long... I smoked cigarrettez for 10 years... Its a lot cheaper... The only problem with it is that your actually still getting nicotine, and it can increase you nic tolerance quit a bit if u dont watch it... But it doesn't stink, it tasts better... I can also breath a lot better.. I can breathe through my nose again!! Its been about 2 months since i quit cigs...
I am not sure but in school they say slowly decrease your intake. So, one day u smoke 1/3 of the pack and the next day 1/2 and than you try to only need 6 and slwly decrease to when u only need 1 or 2 but this takes time and many months.
