Should I get rid of it and try a shorter style?
My hairline & density looks very similar to Brendon Urie's except mine is long down to my shoulders (look at his temples)
Maybe considering trying some hair regeneration products? I'm fortunate enough to not have to deal with (yet at least), but a good friend of mine was mostly bald before he hit 25. He tried growing his hair out and it just looked terrible man... The extra scalp exposure just contrasts too hard with the long hair (especially thin hair) and makes it all look kind of ridiculous.
I'd recommend just keeping it short for a bit and when it gets worse just shaving it all off. And working out a lot. That's my plan at least, going for the hot bald guy look.
That being said, you could just as easily say fuck everyone and do what you want.
I don't think I'll go bald because I don't have baldness in my family, but I don't know anything could happen... I could PM you my other question I had showing different lengths, if that's okay?
I'm nowhere near what your friend is/was at, only I've notice it and couple of friends who are very attentive.
Oh the third pic all day dude. It fits your face and the facial hair and everything. I'd fuck you with that hair if I was a chick. Women will be intimidated by that look, but if you lighten it with a happy personality (read: don't creep the ladies out by overly trying to be too dark and mysterious) you could do great things.
The biggest problem guys encounter with that look is that they can come off as too intense, which can creep people out. So you have to curb it with a light and generous personality. If that's not you then you may think about lightening the look a bit. But honestly, if you can have the personality, that look will go far. I know many ladies who just swoon over guys who look like that.
Thank you
Also - Interesting, I wasn't expecting that type of response... where in the US are you from? Because if this is a good look there, well... I could use a vacation lol.
I've been treated a lot better ever since I grew out my facial hair 2 years ago. The long hair is more of a challenge though, it always gives me trouble. I can be be shy & detached sometimes but I'm always nice and polite... I can be eccentric, weird and goofy as well.
My biggest obstacle is myself, I can get stuck in my head or lost in some personal dilemma that can be off-putting to women but one of the biggest problem is just not going to the right places where I can excel.
All good traits to have with that hair, and the beard (which you def have to keep, because of the babyface). So you're introverted. I am too man. Do you live in the rural south or midwest? Because yeah that would give you a lot of trouble. I live in Cali now but grew up in podunk TN. I'll never go back except to see family/friends on vacation (like now for Christmas) You'd fare very well in a solid metropolitan area. The reason being is that most of the people there are more accepting of styles/personalities who would be rejected by rural traditionalists. Probably any solid metropolitan area, the more liberal the better... (you don't have to be liberal, but liberals are way more accepting of people than conservatives, think Nashville (conservative rednecks) vs. Memphis (where all the liberals in TN end up). A sad realization is that the smaller the American community is the more likely they are to reject things that are different, simply because they're not used to it.
I'm on the West Coast too bud, excepts North... way North all the way across the boarder to BC, the only problem is I'm not in Vancouver but the neighboring cities about an hour away.
You're the second dude on here to say I have/had a baby face, even though that pic with the clean shave is from 2012, I don't expect that much has changed under the fur... so the beard is staying (besides I hate razor shaving, my skin get irritated and then I get this weird shadow the next day so fuck that).
I need to just go more places, sadly most of my friends are introverts and get uncomfortable in places they aren't use to.
But still I just need to go out more and stop feeling insecure.
Hey, what was your thoughts on the handlebar mustache?
I think I'm going to cut off the curly ends for new years...
I think you will look good even if your hairline goes to a 3. The longish hair adds to it, and can make the look sexy. you can work it. :)
I wish I could give you a hug.
