Guys, Would you be attracted to a girl who's overweight?

First off, I'm not a cow but I do consider myself overweight. I one asked a guy friend his opinion and he put me between curvy and chubby category. I think I have a pretty face and I'm told that I have a great personality. I also workout on the regular and try to eat on the healthy side. I really am trying to lose weight and get in better shape but it takes time for sure. As a guy, would you be attracted or date a woman who is overweight but clearly lives an active lifestyle and has all other qualities that you feel you're compatible with?

However speaking in general also, I am sure most guys won't get attracted to a woman who is not physically fit, I mean of course I am not saying that every guy wants the woman to have six pack abs, but what I am saying is guys prefer women who are health conscious, who care about their physique, they prefer woman who maintain their physique, even if they don't have muscles it's fine. I hope you can understand what I am saying?

Yes, minority of guys may get attracted to women who are overweight also.

So even if you met her while she was in the process of getting into shape you wouldn't give her a chance?

I started my journey about a year ago and I've lost 50lbs. I go to the gym at least 4 times a week and I try to eat clean with the occasional cheat meal, etc.

I appreciate your honesty 100% but it seems like even the effort goes unnoticed ya know? I guess I'm just a work in progress lol

Hello. In my opinion it is visual but also personality in my opinion. A visual image would make it easier.( I'm not asking you to upload nor send me one) but if you want further opinion. It would help, but my honest opinion is that if the woman has at least a little of a visual and a great personality then yes I would be attracted to her. I hope my opinion / advice has helped you. Lol yea of course! It just seems like guys want to hook up with me but never actually make a commitment and be in a relationship with me and I'm not about that life.

Of course I would. If a woman were to be somewhat overweight, but was also intelligent, pretty, outgoing, open-minded, and enthusiastic about life, I would date her. There is no sense in letting a few extra pounds offset a lot of great qualities.

No I get that completely! Everyone has their opinions and what they are attracted too. Even me personally, I want someone who wants and tried to love a healthy lifestyle because that's what I'm trying to do. It would be too easy to fall back into old ways!!
