I mean, I don't have an Olympic power rack in my house, lol.
As far as selecting "Other" -- When everyone else goes to sleep, I like to find random huge staircases and achieve tranquility in the form of fasted stair sprints. Locally, I've got access to a couple of 50+ story stairwells that are supposed to be for fire personnel only.
In other cities, my idea of "tourism" involves finding... huge stairwells. LOL
Even better if they have an even # of stairs per landing, which is surprisingly rare (Masonic tradition).
Come to Toronto and climb the CN Tower while raising money for charity at the same time!
@musicbrain5 Hah yea, I do those stair runs here in LA. Our US Bank building is 1664 stairs -- compared to 1776 stairs in the CN tower. That surprised me; I thought the CN tower would have WAY more stairs. (Mb I'm just thinking of the spire thingy.)
Hahaha actually what I'm gna do one of these years, here, is the Niesen Treppenlauf race ("Niesenlauf"). You should google it. Fun! It's like, what, six or seven CN Towers in a row.
I just became old enough to qualify for the "Damen 2" group (= old broads, LOL) this year, so, NOW I HAVE TO WIN IT ALL. Lol
I'm a cyclist so I actually prefer to work out on the trails near my house. Lovely thing, that thing called the outside.
It's tricky when cyclists go on back roads. When it's summer or a little warm. Around my house you will see an army of cyclists. Though thanks to some hills it makes it tricky to spot some of them.
My rationale is the gym takes too much time - You are 30/60 minutes getting ready to go, at least an hour training, shower 20 minutes and maybe 40 minutes going home or on to next place - That is 2.5 to 3 hours wasted whereas at home, throw on running gear, 45 minute run, 15 minute shower - 1 hour and you are ready to move on.
I play football/soccer but to be honest that is half a social thing with my friends so I don't mind how long that takes.
Yes but I despise running lol
I work out at home or outdoors using easily portable tools such as a suspension trainer in a circuit training format. During the winter when training outdoors is not a possibility and I am limited by the small space and low ceiling heights of my home I use bodyweight and resistance band based workouts to maintain (however further progression is usually not possible given the more limited tools I have to work with during this time).

train at the gym for strength
train at the dojo for skills
Both. I try to run at least an hour a day on my elliptical at home. It's missing the cord, so there's no resistance. its about the equivalent of power walking or a slow jog, but it makes me sweat so hey. It's also a nice time to read, as it takes my mind off the fact that I'm exercising.
Anywhere from 3-6 days a week, I go to the gym and lift weights and run on the treadmill.
I voted gym but if I'm running I run outside. Treadmills don't work the same muscles,
I don't like that it controls my speed not me, and it is harder on your lower body since it is harder to get good foot strike.
On business trips I do some times have to run in the hotel gym. I increase the incline to counter the foot strike problem and also make it more challenging but less so than running outside. You burns less calories on a treadmill.
I love to have a garage or basement filled with workout machines. Mainly all i would need is a pull up bar, a full size bench press bar and some little machines to finish up. The rest would all be free weights
Id be so much more efficient! Would be easy to rip it hard... best part, home showers and protein shakes straight at home 😃
At gym. To lift heavy weights and grow muscle or as girls like to call it, "get toned" one must go to the gym. Home you can do some cardio or yoga and things however.
doesn't @polocrew "get toned" at home
@BertMacklinFBI yea but I have weight plates ranging upto 675 brah, its easier and cheaper
@Polocrew thats what I meant, your own gym set at home.
@BertMacklinFBI yea I don't even have to wait for dumbass sloots to leave the rack
@Polocrew very nice. I'm at the gym yesterday and I'm using 2 cables to workout, had my bag on 1 side and my towel on the other, some guy still tries to take it anyways. Told him I'm not finished lol.
@BertMacklinFBI that's what she said but I still snapped her pic and captioned it shacker doe lol
Should have actually said other.
I do weightlifting, swimming, and high intensity interval training (HIIT) at the gym.
I do bodyweight/calisthenics at home.
I do running at the park.
The gym. I utilise so much different equipment, I can focus better and people aren't distracting me. I actually work out at multiple gyms lol
if i couldn't put up weight would you spot me? ;)
@BertMacklinFBI you bet lol. I'm thinking what I can lift would just be a warm up for you though!
well tbh, not being able to put it up was only a ploy to get you to my bench :D
@BertMacklinFBI you don't need a ploy... I'm already there 😉
I do both, I workout at the gym, but I do pushups, squats and crunches at home, and when I go jogging, it's usually outside.
I prefer working out at the gym. I have lots of equipment and weights at home, but there's not a lot of motivation.
I'm not rich, so I don't have gym equipment at home. Plus, a gym membership is ridiculously cheap here.
I am currently not working out but I think I will get another gym membership. I have had them in the past.
The gym. I don't have all the equipments needed at home.
I work out never. Probably a bad thing, but I'll get to the gym sooner or later.
At the gym. More people, more options and professional help. It's better in my opinion.
I work out at a gym, but I run at home between gym days.
I have a gym in my home so I guess both 😅 #upperwestsidebitches 💁🏻😂
Home, but I rather go to the gym where the eyecandy is lol
I never stepped into gym, i just exercise, i am not a muscular freak, but in a decent shape, regular exercise does the trick..
Neither, outdoors. Cycling, running, swimming. Bodyweight exercises on the bars.
I love the gym. I have a hard time being motivated unless I pack my bag and go right after work
