How important is your checklist?

everyone has a checklist of qualities physical and mental, that theyd like in their partner..

SO.. how important is it that your checklist be met, and what are the top THREE qualities you wouldn't overlook (or would be dealbreakers)

I have four things on my checklist, & without them, I will not date someone.

They must:

1) Respect Others

2) Have Morals/Values

3) Not be an alcoholic or drug addict

4) Have a job or go to college or other training programs (I can't afford to support a man)

Past that, there are some things that would be nice, but not necessary. I wouldn't overlook the person if they didn't have the things on my "optional" list. I would, however, overlook them if they didn't have the three qualities listed above.

In that case, I'm starting with four now (in no particular order)...

- likes music (same bands would be even better)

- likes cuddling (I know, it's lame. I don't care)

- witty

- educated

- has goals (that's pretty important)

- doesn't mind my weirdness (that's important, too)

- doesn't constantly trying to get attention

Here's my criteria for a girlfriend:

I don't have any physical standards on my list other than hygiene, because appearance can be worked with and is the least important to me.

Height does not matter to me, but I have noticed a lot of girls are picky about it.

i mean I understand if you want him taller.. but what's the difference between 5'7 or 6' if your short yourself? lol

Yeah I know what you mean. I can't really tell that much of a difference when it is just a couple of inches. Taller than me is taller than me and shorter is shorter, that is how I see it anyway.
