this is gonna sound ridiculous but I get the same way. what's worse is that I'm studying abroad and my mom just sent me a care package FULL of candy, and cookies, and animal crackers. so what I've been doing is when I get hungry I chug like three glasses of water and then smoke a cigarette. I always smoke after eating so with a stomach full of water and a cig my mind gets satisfied. another thing you can do is take a tiny portion of the candy you want and suck on it instead of eating it. There are starbursts and dots in my candy box and at night if I want sweets ill just take one and suck on it.

Keep fruit around and make a rule for yourself not to eat anything else at night. Soon enough yu'll get tired of the fruit and won't overdo it.
Of course, you need to eat adequately during the day. If you're really starving at night of course you can't help eating then. Dieting is fine, but not starvation.Drink water, and have healthy snacks handy just in case your stomach is unbearably painful.
Banana chips and whole oats are healthy snacks you can try.I think a lot of people do this. Maybe take a walk to get your mind off of it- or set limits for when you will stop eating. It's tough but if you are determined you can do it!
Chewing gum helps a little. Drinking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a glass water helps. Don't buy any unhealthy snacks; thus if you have to munch, it would be healthier.

I'm always hungry! One thing that works for me is having some kinda of Nutritional shake on me that I can just constantly sip on.Drink lots of water or make fat free jelly/jello.
