How to stop eating at night?

I can survive the day with just a meal or so, but when time passes 8pm I eat a bunch of stuff. Salty, sweet, salty, sweet, salty, sweet etc. And I'm gaining weight cause of that. I have to lose weight and in order to achieve that I have to only eat a little yogurt at 8pm. And nothing else... And since the rest of the day I don't eat much, I'll be fine. Any suggestions?
