NO @ TB - Buccs offense is pathetic - Mike Williams has been a huge bust and Blount is not 100%. Plus they just gave up 48pts to the 49ers (who suck). No way they can keep up with Brees and Co. The Saints as 4.5pt favourites is *very* generous IMO.

PHI @ WAS - I don't like the Eagles, and I hate Michael Vick, but they're not as bad as their record suggests - whereas Washington are much worse (had a couple of easy matchups, and a week 1 win against the Giants, where Interceptaurus Rex threw for 305yds, 2TDs & 0ints - which will probably never happen again - ever). Also don't think the 'Skins defense is good enough to take advantage of Vick sucking.

BUF vs NYG - Eli likes to throw picks and Bradshaw likes to fumble - Bills are looking like the '09 Saints, with a defense that gives up yardage but makes a ton of big plays (ints and defensive TDs). If Jacobs can't play or is limited, I like the Bills even more, as the Giants can't run the ball without him. I'm thinking it will be a lower scoring affair than most expect (I'd take the under) as the Bills offense is slowing down (Donald Jones was actually quite an important part of it), and the Giants will give up too many turnovers.

Those are the only ones I'd have much confidence in - the rest could easily go either way.

My picks would be: GB, JAC, PHI, DET, ATL, CIN, BUF, BAL, OAK, NE, NO, CHI, NYJ.

the 49ers took advantage of a team heading to the west coast on a short week, tampa bay isn't that bad nor is san francisco that good. new orleans should pile up some points but will their defense make stops or create turnovers, that's the only thing I wonder about in that game. philly is in a gut check situation, another loss and it's going to be panic time there, especially considering how beatable washington is. I'm not crazy about that buffalo game, I'm leaving it alone.

I agree that the 49ers aren't that good, but I think Tampa really *are* that bad - and their offense is the problem, so NO should stop them. Freeman has already thrown as many ints this year as he did during all last season, and is on track to throw just 1/2 the number of TDs. It sounds like they'll be missing Blount this week too (Graham will start). I'd be amazed if they can get anywhere near the Saints.

As for BUF@NYG, heart says Giants and head says Bills - Nicks needs a monster game else.

Nope, I still don't rate the Buccs (esp. the offense). The Saints just gave the game away with the 4 turnovers (much like the Giants vs Seattle last week). I still fully expect Chicago to beat Tampa comfortably next week.

No surprise at all seeing Interceptaurus Rex back to his old self, handing PHI an easy win...

BUF@NYG, I knew would be close, but I really thought the Bills would sneak it (sounds like they very nearly did). The lack of turnovers by the Giants was a huge surprise.

it's possible, atlanta has underachieved so far this year. I like dallas getting 7 points in that game because they keep games close every week. it's always a play here or there that messes them up (usually romo throwing an interception lol).

Rule number 1: the NFL stands for No F***ing Locks. Most teams are mediocre, and they will lose. For example, how the hell did the Giants lose to Seattle in New York?

That being said, I recommend picking a 3 team parlay or 4 as a "lock" or getting your money back card.

i'm looking at a few games. I like philly covering the spread, indianapolis +7, oakland -6.5, green bay -14.5 ( I know that line is huge but green bay can win this game by as much as they want pretty much).

I would love to see the giants take buffalo and dominate them, but! since most of our key players are gone or injured, Even a college football team with average stats can wreck them. =/ Akeem Nicks is promising but Eli isn't that great of a QB so I wouldn't really be surprised if we lost.

talentwise philly has more weapons but the chemistry of that team has been awful at times, they have to protect vick better so he can make some plays with his arm and not get beaten to a pulp out there. washington has a decent team but they haven't really been tested yet, their wins (besides the giants) have been against bottomfeeding teams.

Means Green Bay are the favourites to win, and expected to win the game by 14.5 points.

So if you pick GB and they only win by less than 15 points, you lose money (and if STL win, you lose a *lot* of money). If you pick STL, you win money even if they lose the game, as long as they don't lose by more than 14 points (they still "cover").

The 47.5 is the over/under - the total points expected to be scored in the game (you can bet on that too).
