anyway, do you guys and girls know the best AB workout machines in the gym that helped you get abs?
And how long did it take to get them? I know it doesn't happen overnight, but I mean, 6 months to a year or so...

Machines for abs?
Abs are probably the easiest area to do. Screw the machines.
Crunches, situps, elevated leg situps, incline situps, medicine ball situps, leg raises, hanging leg raises, broomstick twists, side bends(with a dumbbell), side bends, saxon side bends, woodchopper. There's also more options with medicine balls that you might want to look up after you get started and want a little extra punishment.

I don't mind tools, I got a gym full of tools and would like to use them, especially for abs.
Still for abs you don't need much more than a few dumbbells, a medicine ball, broomstick, and a space for leg raises. Even that stuff isn't necessary, but adds an extra degree of difficulty when you're ready for it.
I do suggest using a padded surface for your floor space though. My concrete floored basement is quite uncomfortable for those exercises.
Leg lifts/raises, flutter kicks is another GREAT exercise you can do

You don't need machines. Abs are made to stabilize you, so do leg raises, planks, windmills, etc. If you insist on crunches, focus on the negative movement. I worked my way to decent abs by doing Dragon Flags and Russian Twists.
You really get abs by losing bodyfat, but if your already tight, you may already have them. It'll usually take me a month and a half to get my weight down low enough for them to pop.
well if you already have a low body fat %,it should be easy. I get and lose abs within a matter of days,i started dong elbow planks 10 minutes a day (1-2-3 minutes per a plank),and got great abs in about a week or so.
Forget the machines go out and be active run,swim, and most importantly play sports and you'll have them in no time..I got my abs by playing sports.
