is it that bad if I have braces and Haven't seen the ortho in so long? I Haven't seen the ortho in like 6 months due to work. the ortho told me to see him every 4 weeks. is it that bad if I brush my teeth really well morning and night?

Your supposed to see a dentist every 6 months not the orthodontist, those you need to see every month. It has nothing to do with how well you brush your teeth. When you go back to the orthodontist they change the wires, and readjust your braces.

How long do you want to have braces for? If you want them for a long long time, then go every 6 months. It takes like an hour at the ortho even if you have to work, you can make time.

Brushing your teeth has nothing to do with the orthdontist. You have braces, that's what the orthdontist is for to check the braces, tighten them if needs be, to ensure they're doing what they're suppose to be doing and not pushing your teeth around your head in different directions.
