How long is chocolate good for?

Got some Christmas candy still, it has no expire date anywhere I can see, not opened yet and its been sitting in a drawer, still ok?

It depends on the chocolate. The better stuff that has more cocoa butter in it will spoil much quicker. It also depends on temperature fluctuations. Open it and if it has powdery looking stuff on the outside it is bad. If not,taste a bit and see if it is good or bad.

Chocolate has a 3 year shelf life, believe it or not.
