What colored contacts would go good with my complexion?

Thinking of getting some contacts and give 'em a try but not sure what color to get. Blue is a no-no I know that for sure! XD here's a picture link

Meh, I feel like I can always tell fake color eyes. They say the eyes are the gateway to the soul, and if I see fake looking eyes, it's like a closed gate... I'd stay with your natural color regardless of whether you agree with my premise or that they'd even be discernible.

Ha, pretty much. For what it's worth, you look fine in glasses, but contacts are so much more comfortable of course. And yes, 2 week contacts can last months or until they get scratchy, as long as you change their solution daily (rinsing them under the faucet helps too, I don't care what people say). Not that you asked for contact maintenance advice, only color advice.

Thank you and no that's fine I don't really know much about contacts so that helps. Rinsing them under the faucet is that really ok? I don't want to end up like Lindsey Lohan in that one movie. Eye patches aren't attractive you know! :O

Ha, I guess it isn't recommended but I think it's safer than rubbing your finger in the contact to clean them, even with washed hands. Grit can still rub into them, whereas if you soak them at night in their multipurpose solution and just touch the protein deposits with your finger and give em a 2 second rinse in the AM, does the trick for me every day. No eye problems and have had them maybe 18 years or so, not sure. The key is changing them if they irritate your eyes and are scratchy at all.

I can see the appeal of wanting to try something different--though it looks like you've nice eyes naturally. What about a subtle green? Or does hazel give that effect? I think the really obvious fakes look pretty bad, but something subtle could be fun.

Like other people have said, you'll probably be able to tell it's fake, but it would be fun anyway! I say a brownish green or a brownish purple -- just for fun.

Are your eyes naturally brown? I really like that color with your complexion, but if you want a change, I say go hazel! :)

None, contacts suck. Stick to what you've got, it looks fine.
