GUYS: Would you be attracted to an overweight girl?

Does her weight affect all aspects of being attracted to her, would you not go out with a girl just because she was overweight? Would her personality, etc, be more important for you or is image the priority?

First off, I don't quite know what you mean by overweight. A pic example might be helpful.

In general though, if I'm walking across campus, I am usually going to be drawn to people who are somewhere between skinny, and medium. This is just what I find attractive, don't ask me why, I don't know. That's just what I feel without thinking.

I would probably go out with just about anyone who asked, at least once. If I enjoy being with that person, I'll probably want to go out with them again.

In general, when looking for a LTR Id prioritize personality over image. There are limits to how unattractive a persons image can be before I loose all interest though. I don't know where the line is exactly, but its somewhere between this

Errrr, the examples you gave us don't look like overwieght women. Most people will call that "Baby fat". THose women in the photo's are far from being obese or overwieght.

On a side note: do you know there are a lot of guys that actually like/prefer "thick" "Chubby" women? Not all men want skinny toothpicks.

To be frank, me and a lot of guys that I know would holler at a bigger girl as opposed to a thin, toothpick of a girl. I'm probably being really shallow but a skinny girl to me is an unhealthy girl who is afraid of food and any girl who knows how to eat is attractive to me, and I'm in the middle zone. I'm speaking soley on first impressions though. If you're a cool girl who can make me laugh and not feel uncomfortable around then I wouldn't care what you looked like. But I would be more flirtatious with a big girl before hollering at a skinny girl.

There is someone for everyone. you may not accept that because you may think to yourself, "why is he trying to talk to me? How can he like me--i'm fat?" Well, that's a low self-esteem issue. If you dive into what you like to do i.e. hobbies, etc, men will come flocking, because then you'll be in your element and in pure bliss. Guys love a confident gal whether she has green hair, or nubby knees. Oh--and word on the street is, "all guys secretly desire to be with a big girl." Hmmm...

I think it really depends on how overweight you're talking about.

Personally, I think personality beats all...but looks are pretty important too. We are want to be with healthy looking individuals who take care of themselves. You don't have to be a model, but I think guys would prefer that you stay in a healthy weight range.

this is too general... remember all guys are different... It doesn't matter how overweight a girl is... it's how she carries herself , her personality...but a lot of guys are picky... everyone goes through phases... but there's some guys that like who they are... if a girl is with a guy that is fit and outgoing and she loves him to death she might change her habit and go along with him to go to hikes, or anything physical...It's how the girl is raised that made the difference... don't be negative to start off about ur self... think positive.

It depends on the guy and what the girl looks like and how she carries herself. I'm fat and I attract guys, but I don't feel as confident anymore so I don't attract as much now. Just make sure you dress nice and carry yourself with confidence. There's nothing worse than a big girl wearing skinny girl clothes with all her rolls hanging out, it just looks sloppy and guys hate that lol

How overweight? I really don't think that an athletic or even skinny guy would want someone overweight if the person was REALLY overweight. . . I know that I don't, I want a man who takes pride in how he looks.

To me, her personality, confidence, behavior is far more important than her body. Is it her fault if she is fat ? She is fat due to her low metabolism which is beyond her control.

I'm fairly slim and am attracted to women of similar height/weight proportions. If I were overweight, I suppose I would be attracted to women who are also overweight, though I can't say fer sure.

I dated a few girls who you would consider chubby. I was no more or less attracted to them as a "skinny" girl.

and to me personality shaves some pounds

It all depends if she's 5-30 pounds and depending on how she looks I would date her, now 31-over I would have to really like her ( The 5-30 and 31-over are just made up "facts" by me )
