A guy gives me eye contact and winks at me. Is he interested? If so why is he in denial?

I know a guy who gives me eye contact and sometimes wink at me with smile. Afew years ago we went to Casino and he was playing black jack and I was watching him I decided to leave him he turned back to me and said don't go you bring me luck. I told him that I know he is interested but he said I misunderstood him. He gives me wink because he is happy. He also brushed his finger on my hand when I handed him a glass of water.

But I can't believe him I know he likes me the way he looks at me. Why is he denying? Why he flirts? Now because of his behavior I like him very much, can't stop thinking about him.

He winks to you because it is fun, it is innocent flirting, he obviously gets a reaction out of you (you probably blushing or smiling, etc) and he thinks you are cute. He likes you, but only as a friend. He finds you attractive and likes you being around him, but isn't interested in going any further with you.

He doesn't like you in 'that way', that's all, he's just having a bit of fun.

I have many guy friends who wink at me, flirt, compliment me, and even raise their eyebrows at me when I walk past. None of them like me more than a friend though, it is just fun to flirt.
