You don't know what you have until it's gone... think about what they have done for you over the years, have they supported you? Have they gone out of the way to make sure you've never had to go without? Have they been there for you through hard times? family doesn't have to share the same DNA. For me I was born in to a family where i was 1 of 4 girls. foster care then adopted. I never loved my adoptive family until I looked back on all the hard times I had as a teenager ( getting in to lots of trouble) and then seeing that they never left my side. As for my 3 sisters, I saw one for the first time in 9 years last year and haven't seen her since. I saw another one this summer for the first time in 10 years and haven't seen her either. I wanted a connection but they didn't. I don't consider them family because they chose not to become part of my life. are they still blood yes, but family NO.
I think it's a little weird, purely because I do love my family (as annoying as they are). However, I wouldn't say it's uncommon. I have a friend who says she doesn't love her family (she doesn't hate them either). Even though I don't understand it, I definitely wouldn't call you crazy. :)

That's not crazy. Not everyone loves their family especially if they didn't/don't treat you well. Why should you love someone who has been mean to you? So, you are a completely normal person.
It's not weird. Due to things that happened in my past, I have no love for my family either. No matter how much they have changed now, I still won't be able to love them.
