Guys: do you really prefer this body type? (Pics)

Question

A lot of girls are obsessed with being super skinny and tiny with a thigh gap, but I just don't think guys truly care about that shit. Biologically speaking aren't guys more attracted to girls more filled out to ones who are underweight?

I have to say, I find these kind of questions annoying. The implicit assumption being, the weight you are at, and the type of body you can attain, shifts according to the amount of food that you consume. This is obviously true to a large degree, but people with smaller frames, are in many cases always going to struggle to have a curvaceous, or what we, deem in this society, to be an aesthetically pleasing, even healthy body.

The other annoying assumption, is that I somehow make weighty choices as to who my partner should be, on the basis of their body. Of course, it's an important factor, indicative of personality and lifestyle, but really, I think you afford me more say in the matter than is actually happening in reality. If you have some connection with someone, most sane and non materialistic people, are accepting of physical deviations from some societally imposed notion of what is ideal or what is right.

In a sense, we're creating false dichotomies here. I think skinny girls are gorgeous, as I do more fuller figures.

So yes, I do feel these sorts of questions are in many cases skinny shaming, and driven by insecurity.

Honestly there are guys saying they want a girl with a Kim k ass, tiny waist, wide hips, full lips and the other way around But then ends up with the Total opposite.
Girls are Like this too saying they want a guy with a six pack and a V line then you see them walking arround who doesn't even look fit at all.

In their eyes the girl/Guy who they describe is the perfect One. But everyone knows perfection doesn't exist. It's all about personality eventually. I would rather date someone who is sweet and funny with a belly than soemone who have muscles and is so full of himself.

I'm a black girl shaped more like girl #1, I do have bigger boobs and my thighs are a little bigger. I often feel insecure for being so small because I feel like guys want girls who are more curvaceous. I would even like to have some curves, but I cannot gain weight.

I'm 5'0ft, 100-104 lbs, age 21... I look like and am shaped liked a little girl. I went to an elementary graduation and this little kid tried to hit on me, I am a grown woman!

I think your pictures are off. Most women are trying to look like the type two girls but then there's guys saying they want girls with meat on their bones (who would be less proportionate than a Victoria secret model with more fat everywhere). I think guys want girls with huge boobs, a tiny waist, and big hips with a big butt, but when women are heavier the fat doesn't usually just go to the boobs and hips, it also goes to the waist.

there may be lots of girls who want to look like this but what about those who are stuck like it and can't gain weight? women are so crazy about trying to be lean that they dont consider those who can't even gain weight.

Curvy girls in Playboy have a BMI of like 18.5 which is higher than catwalk models who tend to look 'boyish'. Also apparently female human beings have 6 times as much fat than other mammals (as we also have energy-hungry brains that are six times as big). When stored in the hips and buttocks it consists of Omega 3 fat which is conducive to higher IQ. Both curvy women and their kids apparently have higher intelligence than skinny women or women with a lot of abdominal fat rich with unhealthy Omega 6 fat.

I'd be fine with the ultra-thin girls you showed, but my preference would be for a bit more meat on the bones. The pic on the bottom is still what I'd consider thin, but a terrific overall proportion. There aren't many men who wouldn't be happy with her (physically, at least).

Well, I know it's cliché but the truth is that I don't have a strong preference about body type. If I like the girl and I find her attractive, then I'll like her body too, of course. I want her to be healthy; that's the most important thing.

With that said, 95 pounds is so tiny!!! Even if I hugged that size, I might break them. LOL

Guys are going to like what they like, skinny, tall, curvy, etc. if you like your body and own it that's all that matters. If a guy or girl says they dislike your body (hopefully they don't and that's not why your asking this question) screw them. Everyone is different and everyone likes different things :)

Thin girls are nice and beautiful too but I would rather have a girl who has curves and nice thighs and is full then a girl who is a twig and if I had sex with, she would break in half. Both are nice tho so don't feel bad about URSELF. It's just a matter of opinion

My girlfriend had an eating disorder prior to meeting me, it's something she struggles with everyday in her recovery. She helps girls across the world via support groups, because too many women have the delusion that they need to be rail skinny. Being that skinny and sickly looking is not only unattractive, it's scary. I prefer a healthy woman, with a healthy view of herself.

I really like physically fit and athletic girls, of all body types. So I tend to find that overall it would appear that I prefer skinny girls but really that is because they easily have the ILLUSION of being in shape, but I much prefer the toned girl w/e her body type, over simply skinny.
