Why do people stare at me when I'm with my boyfriend?

I'm honestly tired and sad at the same time because this has been happening for a while ( not all the time but most of the time I'm in public ) especially if is an event or there's a lot of people. Let me start off by saying i don't consider myself ugly or extreme attractive. I'm 5'4 petite and curvy body I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 25 I don't consider him more ugly than me or nothing.
NOW , not all the time I'm out with my boyfriend the staring happens but most of the time I'm walking with my boyfriend on the street they look at me first and then my boyfriend. or even in a car like I was waiting for the light to turn green with my boyfriend and these 2 guys kept looking at us or me and were smiling but in a way laughing but I never saw them laugh. other time I saw me and my boyfriend were going up a hill and this guy's on he car like stretch their neck to see us like wtf? yesterday I was walking with my boyfriend back home and I pass by these 2 guys they lol at me and and as soon I pass by one of them said OooHeell no. yeah maybe it wasn't for me but I feel like it was. I'm just here thinking I'm over thinking I'm being paranoid but in reality people do look at us and I feel I don't know I might look weird or we do together as in a couple idk!
there was one occasion where I pass by some black guys with my boyfriend and as soon I pass next to them one of them said Dode, she a dudee. I looked at my boyfriend and in a soft voice I said wtf. he didn't even look at me and said I don't know and kept walking. I'm pretty damn tired of the staring , maybe people laughing at me or us but mostly me. I don't know what can be the problem guys :/

Not that it's a reason to stare, but you never described your boyfriend except that you "don't consider him more ugly than me..."

You described yourself, but we don't know what your boyfriend looks like, so it's hard to really determine why people would feel the need to stare, or even comment.

Maybe it's a height difference (not sure b/c we don't know your bf's height), maybe it's an ethnicity difference (not that it should matter), maybe it's a weight difference (also shouldn't matter), etc. There are lots of reasons for why people (mostly ignorant people) would feel the need to stare/comment.

I'm gonna be a bit harsh on this but maybe those guy found you unattractive. Someone saying you're a dude is not a good thing. Just ignore them their opinion shouldn't matter. How does your boyfriend treat you? If he's good to you then nothing else should matter.

I know i also said the same thing to myself, it just hurt me so bad at the moment i honestly wanted to cry because they said that while i was next to my boyfriend. He obviously didn't react to what he said but i'm sure they were talking to us since we were the only ones walking by the atm.

Is there any apparent reason to stare? You tall he short or anything that just appears odd? Can't worry about people your letting outsiders disrupt your happiness.

I'm 5'4 his taller than me I'm not sure if his 5'6 or so but is not really a big difference. Sometimes i prevent myself from going to public places where i know there's going be a lot of people because of the same reason.

But honestly people are ignorant bullies. They’re probably staring because obviously something is off. Either.

You're White and your man is Black. So interracial dating.

You're extremely obese, or he’s extremely obese. Or both of you are.

One of you is dressing inappropriately.

One of you has weird colored hair. Or has piercings, or something out of the ordinary. Which can call to the attention of others. One of you is bald.

One of you has some sort of defect. No arm, no nose. Too tall or too short.

Those are the ones I can think off. But if those guys said that you’re a dude. Maybe it’s the way you’re dressing or how you have your hair. In that case, just get a wig, and wear some lashes. Wear some lipstick. Wear a push-up bra. Maybe you’re muscular. Maybe you have some muscles on you. Wear long-sleeves.

I can tell you though this if ur boyfriend's friend called any girlfriend or u in my group a dudee he'd get his ass whooped and tossed. Where I'm from insulting a mans girlfriend or wife is about as bottom feeder as you get. He'd be lucky if lead wasn't his last meal.

Well there are females that don't look that feminine and are more dude looking than female those females are only ever black I've never noticed a white girl that looks more like a dude than female maybe that's why they called you a dude

i caught people looking at me but never have they said something mean instead i do get here and there compliments like your so beautiful or even girls complementing my makeup but that has happen rarely. i do get check out by Older guys thats about it.
