Hm...On a serious note... *puts on serious face*
Idk if this counts, but I feel passionately about atheism, and not believing in any kind of theistic or supernatural religion. I'm a "naturalist" and an atheist, a bit of a nihilist. And I feel strongly about my absence of belief in god and religion. I know plenty of atheists or agnostics, but most of the world is not in that group. Why do I believe in it? Oy. Long story short : Belief in god seems illogical at best, and a desperate cry from humanity. also concepts of god/religion seem inherently manipulative and corrupt. Like almost all man made things. If its just like everything else on earth, I don't see why I should pay reverence or uphold it on this pedestal of holiness. To me, it just seems like business as usual. Money, power, organizing society and keeping people in line. Some of the major concepts of god seem so self centered, focusing only on human beings and this world. And the interpretations of the universe that come from the followers of those gods have the same tune. Its like the fact that we don't even fully understand planets in our galaxy or galaxies far beyond does clue these people into the idea that maybe you're not it. Maybe this world is bigger than you, your god, and your belief that humans were created to rule animals and dominate this planet. Just maybe. But nope. "God did it." *sigh*
Being vegan or at least vegetarian, for ethical reasons. I feel strongly about animal cruelty inherent in the meat and dairy industries. Most definitely I believe that all cosmetics or beauty products I use must be cruelty free and vegan. There's no reason why an animal should suffer for me to paint my face. Its absurdly cruel and selfish to be okay with that. However, I'm about to face a big challenge to my veganism - I'm moving to another country where being vegan or even vegetarian is not very common and ill be doing a homestay program. the families are notified of your dietary restrictions ahead of time, but being the strict vegan that I am here in the states is probably not going to be realistic there, in terms of food. I think aiming to be a strict vegetarian will be more realistic and feasible. I will not eat meat though. Why? My compassionate nature and my disgust for animal cruelty and human selfishness. That's pretty much it.
I'm very passionate about feminism as well. Why? Well, I have a natural interest in my own rights and opportunities. There's always a level of self-interest in our beliefs. However, I also find myself disgusted when any one group is oppressed the way women have been and still are. If the more insidious brand of sexism I see here in the states isn't enough, it breaks my heart when I hear about how women in other countries are just blatantly kept in their place and oppressed. The feminist movements in those places have a more difficult battle, and they have my support.
Lots of things, really. :)

I believe in having a calm and optimistic mindset in life which I wouldn't say other people don't believe in or can't, but many just don't care. For example, taking a step back and evaluating a situation before responding. Obviously this is easier said than done in the heat of the moment, but by putting yourself aside and trying to understand where someone else is coming from and looking at the bigger picture I think it helps you respond in a more calm and reasonable manner. That alone will affect some people in a positive way because they will acknowledge you are trying to be understanding and hopefully reciprocate the respect. It also prevents problems before they even start.
Another example is being kind to everyone, even people you don't necessarily care for. I don't believe you should feed the fire with more negativity because it doesn't benefit anyone in any way whatsoever. Too often people react the wrong way over a petty difference and blow it up into some huge thing it didn't need to be. A good and prevalent example of this is people discussing touchy subjects they are passionate about. Instead of just having a conversation and trying to understand each others point of views (even if they don't agree with them) they get in this defensive mode and start verbally attacking someone for not agreeing with them.
Lastly is I try to remember that stuff happens to everyone and I'm sure there are people out there dealing with worse problems. So there is no reason to use the bad things in life as a crutch. We need to just take them as a lesson and move on in life, not repeating the mistake(s). People get too wrapped up in their little everyday problems they forget they are most often temporary and not as big as they could be. So I'll change what's in my control and let go of what's not and keep moving forward.
I believe that all animals should be given a humane life, and that people who fully understand how cows, chickens, pigs, and turkeys are raised and slaughtered and don't adopt a more compassionate lifestyle are lazy and the reason nothing changes. Knowing about something that is cruel and wrong and just going along is terrible and this goes into my next thing.
I think people who are not affected by hearing about travesties that happen to other people...I think there is something wrong with people like that. Hearing how things suffer should make you feel something and want to spread the word to end it or just make changes to end it.
the fact tht black people are f***ing horrible I live in a decent area thts surrounded on three sides by ghettos where WHITES AND BLACKS live together side by side so everyday all I see I white people being cordial and polite and loud mouth blacks making a ruckus getting arresting and ruining their own apartments and cars and robbing stores when I look at the newspaper for the local area all I see is black man robs this,... its like 10 to one ratio for whites and blacks being arrested and the population is 60% white and 40% black so tell me how people tht are the minority cause the majority of the problems for the community if blacks are so "equal" to whites why do they sh*t on the places they live and just overall be a burden on society
and wen people call me a racist/bigot I ask them if they live by them they always say no but the reason there so much crime in the area is because its a poorer neighborhood...but tht doesn't make sense because there is 20% more white people tht do 10% of the crime tht the blacks do
soo basically blacks do 90% more crime but yet they are a victim of their environment and are equal...
personally I believe to fix the issues in America we need to separate blacks and whites and make an all black quarter of the country where we put all of them and keep them there to ruin their place while the white areas stay nice...
this is probably gonna get hella downvotes but idgaf I feel so strongly about this topic tht it literlly makes me feel sick wen I walk or drive through the sh*tty ghettos and as I look at poor white and black people dealing with their situations differently
whites try to get out
blacks drive it down and get poorer and go to jail...
That fighting is for p******. How insecure of a man do you have to be to fight people just to build your ego? I might be a big dude, but I'm not going to fight people for no good reason. Even if a guy is talking sh*t, there is no point. He WANTS you to get mad at him and try to lose your self control, because that shows weakness. If you are a real man, you shouldn't give a sh*t about what others think about you anyway. I do think it is acceptable to fight if it is in self-defense.

I believe in keeping your chin up and staying positive no matter what happens. :) Having been depressed before, I believe it's important to appreciate every little thing you have in life.
I also believe that holding a grudge is toxic and that it's important to forgive.I believe in honesty and honor. There are some things that I never do and I won't tolerate my friends dong those things. If they do, they are no friends of mine. I never sit on the ground/floor, I never lie, I never keep secrets and I don't let my friends do bad things.
Because of these simple things I have one really good friend and a few friends. By doing the things I stated above you disrespect yourself or the people around you.I believe eating animals should be forbidden. They go through enormous pain while still alive so that we can eat them. It´s disgusting.
I know it´s old fashioned, but I think sex should be special and not something you do out of peer pressure or because you "are supposed to".I believe in a "black and white" morality rather than shades of grey. Things are acceptable, or they are wrong. There is no middle ground.
My kids, even though they were premies they are thriving I don't treat them like their special needs even though some of them are :)
the earth is hollow but nasa airbrushes it before showing it to the public
I strongly believe I can sing better than Justin Bieber but others don't believe it

I believe love conquers all.
